i currently own a DS lite and i was planning on getting a PSP 3000 when its released. But now that a new DSi model is coming out...i don't know what to get now! They both have the same features except the camera on the PSP. I tried deciding based on game library and upcoming releases but i don't even know what new games are coming out for both (i've been busy playing on my consoles). Can someone help me out? And i'm sure there are few people out there who are asking themselves the same question. thanks in advance :D
Since you already have a ds lite, you should get the psp 3000 because the only difference really is that you can go on the Internet (Omg look I'm on the Internet with a 3 inch screen YAY) you have a camera (Most people i assume have digital cameras now no need epically when most average digital cameras now adays have 10x better quality) and you can download some games off the Internet (That's cool feature not going to lie, but for all we know it could be GBA games lol) But they get rid of the GBA slot which for me is a big cost i still love my GBA as much as my ds games.....
The psp can do everything above better and it has videos and music (can get 16g memory cards so you can have lots of multi media stuff) Only difference is the games which the ds has more of , but the psp has its fair share and if you really want to you can buy a psp addon for the camera (Has about the same mega pixels as the dsi)
Imo for the reasons above get the psp 3000 enjoy :D
Also the psp and the ds have there fair share of great titles coming up (I'm not so good with naming them but there are some) Mostly the ds has the larger game base and more variety, but I'm sure the psp will get more third-party love sooner or later! :D
EDIT: I'm sure some people will go thought the hassle to name good games for both systems
ok thanks. so far my plan is to get a PSP 3000. BUT i will still keep an eye on the DSi. It's been mentioned that the DSi will be/might be coming out with its own line of games specifically for DSi and not DSLite. Its probably why they got rid of GBA compatibility and made DS Lite games the "backwards compatible one." The interesting stuff about the DSi is the smaller design, new features, and games that are coming out. But then again the PSP 3000 looks like it has better quality music player/internet browser. So far its 35% DSi, 65% PSP 3000 :/
