Its a new style in the sense that there are points of vibration instead of what we are currently used to. Some rumors, since there hasnt been any official announcements, report that the vibrations are directional, left and right so you know where your getting hit...or where your hitting other objects...

I guess all we can do is what until something if anything is announced at Sony's Conference.
