Great game, but I won't spend $15 on it.
I'll wait for the $5-$10 range...and I can just play my original copy in the meantime.
Life is like a hurricane
Here in Duckburg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes
It's a duck-blur
Might solve a mystery
Or rewrite history
DuckTales (ooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making
DuckTales (ooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good
Luck tales (ooh ooh)
When it seems they're heading for the
Final curtain
Cool deduction never fails
That's for certain
The worst of messes
Become successes
DuckTales (ooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making
DuckTales (ooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good
Luck tales (ooh ooh)
D-d-d-danger watch behind you
There's a stranger out to find you
What to do, just grab on to some ...

why people always use the words remake and remaster wrong? People are always calling the HD re-release "remakes" but when we actually get a remake they say it's a remaster... And why Capcom can't do something like this with the first Megaman X game? That PSP remake was terribly ugly with the awkward 2.5D graphics. Me and many other MMX fans would be happy just with bigger and more detailed sprites and some little twist to the gameplay to make it feel fresh.
Capcom did so many polls and Megaman X was always the winner in everything. Remakes? MMX. New UMvC3 characters? MMX. But then they come and remake this Ducktales game....

be damned sir... The greatest Disney Afternoon lineup in history was the first one... Gummy Bears, followed by Duck Tales, C&D:RR (great game by the way) and Tale Spin... Duck Tales being the best of the bunch...Dark Wing Duck, Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Goof Troop > Duck Tales.

Nah, I'd even be tempted to put Bonkers over Duck Tales too. Dark Wing Duck was by far the best though, and I had most of the toys . :D
[QUOTE="darkspineslayer"]Was this the one that has the famous moon level? TheEroicayep... I can hear the music now.... Man, Capcom used to really be something. They knew how to squeeze greatness out of 8-bit sound. Shame they are what they are today.
[QUOTE="Riverwolf007"] best remake they've done in a while...but where does stuff like this come from?scraping the bottom of the barrel in hd remakes confirmed.

ducktales of all things.
how does that conversation go?
"hey lets do another hd transfer what should we do? fear effect? gta 1 and 2? vagrant story? silent hill 1? ducktales?"
"omg! yes! ducktales!"
can you see where that is kinda a strange pick in comparason to what they could have remade?

Its funny when you can tell the difference in age by which disney afternoon lineup was on... haha. I grew out of the D.A. right when Darkwing started. It was appointment after school homework tv. best remake they've done in a while...but where does stuff like this come from?[QUOTE="TheEroica"][QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]

Well of course in the realm of modern gaming, Duck tales is a simple game with simple objectives, but as a lifetime gamer who grew up when this game came out, I can tell you that there is a very large number of people who covet this game as one of the best (still) games on the NES. Now I dont know if that 15 dollar price tag is worth the squeeze but indeed whenever a game with a cult following gets a remake its a win. best remake they've done in a while...but where does stuff like this come from?[QUOTE="TheEroica"][QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]

none of those are owned by capcom. plus, it's an excuse to listen to that theme song again. and to this:[QUOTE="Renegade_Fury"][QUOTE="TheEroica"] be damned sir... Yeah I was like 13. I kinda missed the darkwing phase. It was all about the first lineup for me. I saw a few episodes here and there because my younger sister still watched.I was more excited before I saw all the dull polygonal environments. Capcom obviously didn't want to spend much on this.
It's still great because it's a great game and Scrooge McDuck/DuckTales is objectively the best Disney-related thing.

My twitter feed was filled with this game today. I only watched the show, was the game that good?bbkkristianit's a game that even if you've never played, you have to be a fanboy of, because 1- it's duck f*cking tales, 2- it's old school capcom, and 3-

Ooooh cartoon theme songs (from days gone by).
Tis like a smelling salt to wake my inner childhood.

Oh hey it's that game people love because of that one tune in that one level.
Nah jk I'm sure the game is good. I will say that when I saw the video's thumbnail I was strangely reminded of Paper Mario.
