MGSV is the only game I bought this year and I was expecting that MGO like crazy to play some online after that disappointing single player campaign without having to pay for PSN or XBL but this is what I get goddammit. Seriously **** PC gaming, **** the mustard race, **** everything. Gonna go buy a PS4 right now. Can't handle being treated like trash for a little bit of useless freedom since it's not like I even like the grand majority of PC centric games to begin with.

Meh. Kojima's online gameplay hasn't been great anyways and I'm still making it through the single player on PC now. This has been known for a while now but I still stuck with the PC version. No worries here.

It's just Metal Gear Solid, anyway. You have a PC. Just play a better game instead.

It's not like there's no game to play ....Check out Steam, there are tons of games to purchase.

It's shitty on consoles tho, you might wanna reconsider ... and i don't think MGO is a big deal.

LOL Sweet vindication ..... exactly right screw PC's, it's almost always better on console anyway....go get that PS4 dude you will not be disappointed, PC gaming sucks, and always will, there are minor exceptions such as turn based strategy and certain rpg's, but even those are being ported with better controls and equal graphics to consoles.

There's a game breaking issue with MGO right now where if you lose connection to the host you don't gain any xp. I can't even get past rank 1 because of it right now.

I would've deleted the game if it wasn't for MGO. It's easier than MGS4 online but still better than MGS5 single player.

Isn't online set on the mother base, one of the most drab and boring places in the game. Why anybody would want to revisit that place again ?

To be honest, if you want to play Metal Gear Online, I would say to play it on PS4.

Have a feeling that MGO is going to be bad on PC. Don't think Konami are going to pour a lot of resources on maintenance for MGO and as such, see cheaters/hacks/"mods" being a prevalent thing on the PC version.

The game is peer 2 peer. I really expect myself NOT TO PLAY IT.

Nah, that's the online mode that's been in all versions since day 1. Basically it's 1 vs 1, but the defender has bots on his side while the invader is trying to sneak through and steal resources and personnel. And while mother base is a lifeless boring husk in the single player, it's actually a tense place to sneak through in multiplayer. And in case you're wondering, no they're not all exactly the same, security equipment, staff equipment, and the base size itself do vary depending on how much an opposing player has invested into their FOB.

MGO3 is the competitive multiplayer with maps, modes and classes you'd find in plenty of other games. It's a team based online TPS with MGS quirks.

And yeah, this is ancient news, we knew this well before launch.

From what it sounds like, Metal gear Online 3 is trash, so it's not even like PC players are missing much.

Says who? Besides some minor gripes here and there, many seem positive on MGO3.

It's lightyears above the first two MGOs, but I guess that's not saying much considering that MGO1 and 2 were abysmally bad.
