Duke Nukem Forever looks bad

it's basically living off hype, it has nothing going for it.

everything about it screams generic. aside from the story and characters(duke alone). and a good story can't carry a bad game.

maybe it'll pull a resistance 2 and get AAA(lolresistance), but so far it looks more 6-7.

I think it looks great. Everything about it to me just screams "play me, I'll make you laugh for hours". Looks hillarious.

8.0-8.5 at best imo. It's been delayed so many times, that the game is pretty generic. It's exactly like most games: fight off the aliens.

Like most games this gen.

Its a throw back and its a revival of a franchise that doesnt take itself seriously and likes poking fun at pop culture.Its crude, strange and weird for those who didnt grow up with it.

The word generic is thrown around too much. Its a First person shooter, how is any first person shooter NOT generic? Its first person shooting.

Its like saying "These cheeseburger has cheese and beef, its so derivitive compared to other cheeseburgers".

Duke is way more distinguished than all the other shooters around, it would have been generic 10/12 years ago. Im glad Duke is back, show all these Modern Warfare pu***es what a shooter is really about. Kicking alien teeth inand using crazy waepons.

It looks like a fun game, i don't see the problem with that.

We haven't had a FUN fps in awhile. DNF looks to deliver on this.

It may be bad looking for you. But my graphical desires are completely pleased and I'm sure I'm going to personally enjoy the gameplay. The trailers pleased my graphical desire, the gameplay I can only judge when the game finally comes out.

So what was generic about the latest trailer? The one where a miniature Duke was fighting miniature aliens in a kitchen, dodging tin cans, being thrown up in the air by toasters and driving a toy car around?

Duke Nukem Forever looks forever bad because of the old Unreal Engine 2 that powers it and can't even provide non-blocky boobs :P

How can you not love the Duke after this?

I think it'll be a very fun game, but not a game with a lot of depth. I expect that a lot of the CoD-generation of gamers will troll this game hard though.

graphics look dated, gameplay looks generic but it looks fun which is what a game is supposed to be. Games need a bit of humor now adays anyways we are seriously lacking in anything humorous/silly this gen.

Even if DNF get's 1/10 and overall bad-ratings across the board,I'll buy the game anyways just to spite you TC.....for subjecting me to this dumb thread.
