Even with all the policy reversals, the Xbox One has had pretty much nothing from bad press. Not just from gaming sites for the hardcore, but you can bet your ass even general news sites like forbes and yahoo have been reporting it too. Casuals with more serious gaming friends and family hear about it all through word of mouth and even if they themselves wouldn't hold a grudge against MS, the fact that their more hardcore friends/family are more inclined to get a ps4 now as early adopters will more than likely make the decision of which console to buy an easy one for them.

Those are some mighty big assumptions you're making right there. A higher price point automatically means most softcore gamers will deter from the console. Graphics are actually a bigger deal than most people give it credit. If a consumer walks into a store and sees KZ:SF or Driveclub running next to COD:Ghosts and NFS: Rivals, they're going to notice the graphical difference. What you need to understand is that more mainstream consumers turn to us for buying trends since we're more well versed in gaming. And right now, the majority of gamers are sour on the Xbox One. All a casual needs to do is ask his friend about the Xbox One and whether he should get it, and most hardcore gamers will fill their head with all of this negative sentiment. The other factor you need to consider is that there are many hardcore gamers that are jumping ship to PSN and PS+ this console generation, and that takes consumers with them. There are many gamers who buy in trends, and if they see their hardcore gamer friends playing on PS4, they're going to want to play with them considering they probably played with them on XBL.

Right. When you do polls like this, it's not even about the games or system really. It is a damn war between fanboys. So a PS3/4 gamer will craptalk the Xbox mainly because they are trolling Lems and vice-versa. I find that most people that talk shit about a different system have never played one.
You need to be level 10 to make new threads in System Wars and this isn't fanboy wars, keep all topics about the various platforms and games, not the people who play the games.
