Stop, right there, and think.....  Yes, I am making this up, but, I am just doing it out of logic.  IPTV is about two things at its core, and that is 1. Internet connection bandwidth, and HDD capacity.  20 gig just isnt going to cut it.  So this new rumor of a black 360 with a 120 gig HDD is going to come to frution without a doubt.  You tell me how they are going to accomodate IPTV on the current 20 Gig 360's?  It also isnt unlikely that the service provider will give away this new 360 model away for free for signing up for the IPTV service.  So I guess MS will give us the choice to either upgrade your current HDD, buy the new model, or deal with a 20 gig HD that cannot utilize IPTV correctly, mind you 20 is a bit overzealous, try 13 gig.  Bottom line, believe the rumors!!!!!!

(Internet Protocol TV, Internet Protocol Television, IP-TV, IP-based Video, IP-based VOD system, IPTV Broadcasting) – Receiving TV and/or video signals and/or other multimedia services via your Internet connection, in particular your broadband connection. A set-top box can be used for this. Better IPTV set-top boxes allow you to connect multiple TVs for wider distribution of services within the home. The Xbox 360 will work like a set-top box allowing you to stream TV via your IP service. Cool stuff eh?

Did any of you guys actually did some research on how IPTV works? The content is streamed from a server, and it never actually takes space in a hard drive or such. The content exists in ram, and whenever you rewind or foward you actually send a request to the server to show a difference piece of the transmission. Yo do not need a harddrive at all for IPTV unless you want to record a show for your own viewing pleasure and watch it several days later, and even then, the show will be stored in the main servers, and all your hard drive will store is the command that enables you to request the specific content from a specific time, so the server can foward it to you. You do not need a hard drive for IPTV.

MS will put out a 120gig for all current 20gig owners at roughly the same price as 20gig.

IPTV means streaming, you could not watch HD tv all day, on ANY size of HDD, right ? The HDD would only be used to WRITE programms, not watch TV

IPTV is a DVR, know what you are talking about. Yes it streams, and it can stream up to 4 hd broadcasts at once, you gonna watch all 4 or you gonna record them to your HDD? Do you want the link to give you insight???????
