E3 2010 we will see....

Announcments for PS4 and the next Xbox. This is just my opinion but an announcment now for a 2011 release.

What's the opinion of System Wars

I expect to hear nothing about next-generation consoles at 2010 E3. I expect to hear announcements of more sequels.

Very slim chance of anything PS4-related. MS' showing will be dominated by Natal (and Gears 3, and Halo Reach). Nintendo could announce some new hardware, I guess, but now that we know there's no Wii HD, it seems less likely.

New CoD game footage, MAYBE Killzone 3 footage(hopefully), Agent footage and other stuff.

I expect to hear nothing about next gen consoles. Maybe 2011, more likely 2012.

PS3 just started recovering from its long slumber, 360 got Natal to be released very soon so they cant blow its hype by announcing a new console and Nintendo seems to be doing very well to announce a new console, And about handhelds Sony just released PSP GO and Nintendo is releasing DSI XL soon so no I dont expect any new console or handheld to be announced at E3 2010.

No it won't. The PS3 Slim isn't a new console. It's just like the PSP 2000. An upgraded model of the same thing.

I would be ****ing pissed off if they announced any new console for sony or microsoft since both consoles are supppose to last 10 years and there hardly on there thrid and fourth year.

I can gurantee one thing. When the first Zelda Wii trailer is shown at E3 2010. The first 3 pages on SW will be a Zelda Wii topic. Trust me.

Nintendo will show trailers for Pikmin 3, Zelda Wii, Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2. If those last two aren't out by then.

I also think there is a chance they will announce a new handheld system.

As for Sony and Microsoft I am not too sure, but I am positive it will be awesome.

well anyway i beleive apple will have a stronger presence at E3 than this year and maybe theyll release something like a copy of xbox live or maybe upgrade apple tv into a game console.

I beleive sony will have a bad showing (blame it on how ps wand is a copy of wii motion plus)

while ninty will have a great showing

while microsoft will have a online and focus on the next update to xbox live that is if that rumor above doesnt come true.

I could see a Xbox 360 Slim with Natal bundle, as well as a revealing of Zelda Wii

Wouldn't be surprised at a PSP2, but I think Nintendo will want to hold on to the DSi for another year, especially with the LL.

I believe Sony will unveil new IP's. Seeing how they are devoted to create new IP's to survive this generation.

I expect to see;

Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy versus 13 footage, Zone of Enders, Footage from Rising, more of the Eyetoy, first look at Agent, first trailer for Resistance 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Final Fantasy 14 info or gameplay, White Knights Chronicle 2,and new IP's announced.

Sony's primary focus will be new IP's.

Would be great time to upgrade for two reasons
1. We all know consoles slow down graphics evolution.
2. 2012 is the end of the word so that let us 1year of next gen gaming :P

im not really looking forward to e3 for some reason....who knows, that will probably change if they announce some new ips

I doubt it, I thought both MS and Sony announced that they were planning on keeping the current gen consoles out as long as possible, plus it seems a bitt too soon for the new consolees to be released, the PS3's only been out for like what 3-4 years now?

No doubt. But the rate they'll be made will far surpass the locking speed.

Its going to be a day to remember.

Out of the three consoles I can only see the Wii getting some sort of hardware update, not exactly a Wii 2, but some sort of HD upgrade.

I hope they don't I want this gen to gon on a lot more than it has.

Nintendo: Some killer DSi only retail games like Nintendogs 2, New Super Mario Bros 2, etc. and release dates for Metroid Other M for fall 2010 and one other core nintendo IP like Pikmin/Kirby/StarFox to carry the November end of the holidays, plus Monando RPG from Nintendo, Zelda trailer and official release date of March 2011, Dragon Quest 10 on Wii in fall 2010

MS: Halo Reach info, Gears 3 reveal for 2011 release, Fable 3 details and date, MGS Rising details, Natal details dominating the conference with a lot of casual titles shown for it

Sony: Resistance 3 reveal, 2011 reveal, Sly Cooper PS3, The Last Guardian details, Heavy Rain details (if not released i dunno release date), StarHawk reveal, fall 2010 release, hype on GT5 sales and GOW3 sales, more PixelJunk games, another Socom for PSP, Wand controller sales details and hype, a flurry of PS3 games supporting the Wand, but Sony still not making the Wand standard

I also think we will see hints of the Wii 2 at e3 2010, with Myiamoto and Iwata discussing the HD console possiblities more and more.

I'd say if Natal/Wand sell as well as WiiFit does (10million units+) by the end of 2010 for the wand, or by spring 2011, then Nintendo will reveal Wii 2 with 360 level hardware (if not a tad bit better) for a launch price of $200 for fall 2011, it will ride off the hype of Zelda Wii, and come with launch titles like Wii Sports 3, Wii Fit 2, and titles like Pikmin, Star Fox, Kirby, Mario Kart will actually carry the console in its first few years on market before new Zeldas/Marios hit for that new console.

I'd say they'll probably launch it with a new Super Smash game in 2011 or early 2012, thus disrupting the industry once again by forcing the "nex gen" hand by making it slighly more powerful than 360/PS3 (like 1GB RAM, or 800-1Ghz CPU) while Sony and MS wait until 2013 to release new consoles, thus giving nintendo a 10-20million headstart

I think we will see the PSP 2 and DS 2. But no new consoles, Sony & MS wouldn't be in any rush and Ninty are doing fine with the Wii. Floppy_Jim

i think if anything we'll see more of these DSi only titles coming to stores next year, notably system sellers from Nintendo and we won't see a replacement for DSi until 2012 at the earliest

That would be the best E3 of all time right there. 8)

well Im just saying some people is going to get the ps3 and all these games...then the PS4 came out there is gonna be a little BIG space to think about perfection in making the PS4/Xbox(idk), we dont want another failures such as RROD or the ps3's disc player not working
