E3 Game of the Show

So what do you think will get game of the show at this years e3? Has to be in playable form. I am thinking it will either be Modern Warfare 2, Alan Wake or God of War 3. Any takers?

It should be Alan Wake by a country mile, but it'll probably be AC 2.

I'll go with the The Sess and say Br00tal Legend.

But between your choices? Alan Wake. It's the freshest and I love Remedy.

From what I've seen do far -

1. Uncharted 2
2. Splinter Cell Conviction
3. Assassins Creed 2

E3 isn't over yet , so who knows.

World War 2 Online

For me it is Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Lost Planet 2 and Assassin's Creed 2. Plenty of others in addition to those as well. Picking only one is just inconceivable for me, sorry.:)

It was really Halo ODST though, it looks like a more refined Halo 3 and we all know Halo 3 is a top AAA game.

Personally, its a toss up between Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction, perhaps Alan Wake as well. In terms of guessing what the press will say, I'd wager on God of War III or Modern Warfare 2.

But anyways, my PERSONAL game of the show even though it isnt playable....The Last Guardian. Truly amazing and epic.

For me, Mass Effect 2 :D

SC:C would be 2nd.

Splinter Cell Conviction killed everything

During sony's press confrence there was a demo. My vote goes to Alan Wake (PLEASE COME SOOOOOOOOOON!!!) and Uncharted 2. Both look PHENOMENAL.

I would have to say Alan Wake from a storytelling and graphical standpoint. Looks awesome.

SC didnt impress me all that much I dunno. Its hard to see some of the videos though theyre so crappy.

I liked Splinter Cell: Conviction, The Last Guardian, Modern Warfare 2.

Nah, I agree with PBSnipes. GoWIII just looks like more of the same. Alan Wake looks fresh. I enjoyed the Max Payne games more than the GoW games, I place more faith in Remedy.

I understand what you're saying. I just listed the things that had the most impact on me without really thinking about the directions in the OP.

It's hard to say. This was the best E3 in a while. For me it is probably New Super Mario Bros Wii. because a few of my friends and I have been playing 2D mario games compeditively for as long as we could play games and this is just taking it to a whole new level. I'm so freaking exicted.

Uncharted 2 and Alan Wake, both look great.

In terms of games with playable sections IMHO:

1. Uncharted 2

2. Modern Warfare 2

3. Assasins Creed 2

(A list i thought I would never say as I don't like FPS's alot and AC1 was awful)

In terms of trailer only.

1. The Last Guardian

2. Metroid M

3. Tied GT5, Alan Wake (Which by the looks of recent trailers I'm thinking about not buying at launch day) and Heavy Rain (Which looks like CSI:London and Imho may not work as a game)
