So what do you think will get game of the show at this years e3? Has to be in playable form. I am thinking it will either be Modern Warfare 2, Alan Wake or God of War 3. Any takers?

I'll go with the The Sess and say Br00tal Legend.
But between your choices? Alan Wake. It's the freshest and I love Remedy.

probably God of War 3.Personally, its a toss up between Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction, perhaps Alan Wake as well. In terms of guessing what the press will say, I'd wager on God of War III or Modern Warfare 2.
Whta FPS halo hasnt scored above and beyond a 9.0It was really Halo ODST though, it looks like a more refined Halo 3 and we all know Halo 3 is a top AAA game.

Is God of War playable? I thought it was just a new trailer?
During sony's press confrence there was a demo. My vote goes to Alan Wake (PLEASE COME SOOOOOOOOOON!!!) and Uncharted 2. Both look PHENOMENAL.

Again, I thought TC wanted it in playable form, not a trailer.
It looks like he did (don't know why I missed that).

It should be Alan Wake by a country mile, but it'll probably be AC 2.

God of War 3 was ALOT more impressive than Alan Wake sir.
But anyways, my PERSONAL game of the show even though it isnt playable....The Last Guardian. Truly amazing and epic.
Nah, I agree with PBSnipes. GoWIII just looks like more of the same. Alan Wake looks fresh. I enjoyed the Max Payne games more than the GoW games, I place more faith in Remedy.

this seems kind of important no? I mean unless theres some kind of demo showing it off or actually played by people at e3, very hard to get a grasp for what a game will play like right? remember the infmaous killzone 2 trailer... no pun intendedSplinter Cell Conviction has been the most surprising and interesting thing shown thus far for me. I just listed the things that had the most impact on me without really thinking about the directions in the OP.
It's hard to say. This was the best E3 in a while. For me it is probably New Super Mario Bros Wii. because a few of my friends and I have been playing 2D mario games compeditively for as long as we could play games and this is just taking it to a whole new level. I'm so freaking exicted.
In terms of games with playable sections IMHO:
1. Uncharted 2
2. Modern Warfare 2
3. Assasins Creed 2
(A list i thought I would never say as I don't like FPS's alot and AC1 was awful)
In terms of trailer only.
1. The Last Guardian
2. Metroid M
3. Tied GT5, Alan Wake (Which by the looks of recent trailers I'm thinking about not buying at launch day) and Heavy Rain (Which looks like CSI:London and Imho may not work as a game)
