E3 this year, maybe the best we have all seen. I know its early to start the hype, but it hard to ignore. Personally I think its going to be one big "anyhting you can do i can do better" shows. It will be great.

Yeah, I'm expecting good things as well. I have high hopes this year, esepcially since it's the first year that I'm actually interested in all of the major consoles and handhelds. Hopefully I'll be able to add a lot more games to my sig. :P

Most certainly. I think MS and Sony have some big stuff to show us all. Nintendo buzz for the show has been low. I'm most interested in ANY new IP's and what MS was talking about with "new tech" after KZ2's release.

i think it will be the best for sony and nintendo in particular, they both look like theyd be the ones with promising news,

last year even though many say nintendos was lame, i dont think it was any worst then microsoft

they had some promising 3rd party showings shaun white and cod5 waw

then they focused on ds and wii fit /sports 2 i agree it could have been better but it certainly wasnt the worst e3 , i think the first e3 i saw was the worst , i forgot what year that was but , obviously it wasnt promising it was sometime during the n64 leading to the gc era

i think nintendo and sony both got this years suprise waiting for sure

it only make sense,

because

1 nintendo wants to rebound from their last showing

2 sony wants to at least catch up to microsoft, i dont think they care about wii b ecause its not in direct competition for say they arent aimed at the same graphic heavy market,

heck tgs for nintendo was actually better then last years e3 so , it willl pick up from there,

and sony had some awsome news , about the 99 ps2 , im sure people were waiting , and showing some upcoming titles respectevly, i didnt like microsofts tgs ,, they did not have much to say about anything thats not halo related,

I think it will go down this way -

  • Microsoft - "this ps3 game is coming to our system too!.How awesome are we? Here are some predictable Rare games and other sequels! Here are more casual games! Isn't live great ? Here issome more exclusive DLCs and timed exclusivity deals!"
  • Nintendo - "Lets about sales and innovation. By the way here isanother Mario game and some more "wii line" games and peripherals!"
  • Sony - "Here is our psp redesign , a small ps3 pricecut , Home is really awesomesauce despite what you think, ps3 is a 10-year plan , here's a Twisted Metal trailer , and more casual garbage is on the way!"

Hopefully there's more to it than that .... but my expectations are low after the previous few years.

I'm expecting great things this year. Especially from Microsoft. Even though I don't own a 360 but I think they have a lot of tricks up their sleeves.

Yea, i love how all three companies are keeping hush about whats going to happen, its like this huge build up of hype. I can't wait, I hope this E3 will be like old times. My predictions....

Ps3- Ps3 will take this year, they will have the most surprises and will try to win back the crowd and bring the hype back to the system

Wii- Nintendo will focus more on the DS than the Wii, they will also release info on the new Wii coming out. I have high hopes for Ninty, i really hope they try to win back their hardcore crowd.

X-box 360-- I have no idea what to expect from Microsoft, im honestly just assuming that they will play it safe and reveal nothing big other than the typical game announcements.

It better be.E3 lost LOTS of attention during these few "experimental" years. I dont unerstand why they didn't keep it up, considering the show got the mass PR cover it wished for. I wonder if are going to see an über surge like we did a couple of years ago when Nintendo let people play the Wii. Remember those lines? Good times!

Impressive. I also heard you had a life-size replica of a sword that's also a gun and is made out of swiss cheese.

Unless there are some major game announcements I'm not really to excited. All the games announced for this year aren't such a big deal. I kinda doubt that any companies really held back with the announcements considering how lame the last few e3s were. If anything there might be some announcements for good games coming next year.

I agree, last year's E3 was the worst, mainly for sheep. I want to see Microsoft announce some games, they need more than Halo(and yes, I'm half joking).

Duke Nukem Forever is never gonna release as much as I want it to...which is a shame because i'd love to be bale to "kick some ass and chew bubble gum" in HD.

Riddick is pretty much the New Duke Nukem

and it would be nice to see footage of "Beyond and evil 2",or perhaps a Heavy rain release date?

All I know is that Microsoft better have some good stuff up their sleeves. They haven't shown us anything worth seeing in ages. They need to quit worrying so much about the casual crowd.

Isnt hideo kojima introducing or making an appearance at this?

I think this e3 will be ok, but not the best, we'll see though in the meantime.

It will be good.

PS3 has made a comeback and hopefully they continue with E3

Micro has to counter the uprising of PS3

Should be quite interesting

This will be the first E3 I've watched, and it seems like a great time to start.
Anything can happen. I'm expecting Sony to "win" this year. But perhaps Microsoft have some shocking news, they haven't revealed anything worth-while for a long time. And I'm expecting a big E3 from Nintendo. Kid Icarus? New Zelda Wii?
Ahh I can't wait.
