He said architech not raw power even after factoring optimization modern high end pc are stronger and the ps4 and xbox one aren't even out yet.

The title of the artice is very flame-friendly.

Notice that the guy never said that the XOne and PS4 are a generation ahead of top-spec PCs in terms of pure power.

It actually isn't the misinformation. He's correct. XOne and PS4 have better hardware architecture than any gaming PC out there. The article spreads the misinformation, not the guy who said it.

Well, in that case, he's stating the obvious. It's obvious consoles as closed platforms will be more efficiently designed than the PCs, and will be able to utilize their resources better.

Going by that logic, you could say the PS3 and the 360 also have a better hardware architecture than any PC on the market, since their resources are getting used to the last drop, while on the PC you have overheads, and some of the power is wasted on them.

A 2013 Honda with all its bells and whistles is still no match for a 2010 Ferrari.  The new consoles are just that, Hondas .  PC is the Ferrari.

Since when a integrated GPU is considered the top-notch architecture. Wasn´t that stuff invented long time ago by Intel on PC for scrooge people who don´t want to buy a dedicated video card ?

I mean I remember having a motherboard with an integrated GPU that used shared RAM as video and operative memory in 2000. Doesn´t it sound like PS4 to you ?.
