According to the New York Post EA is thinking of being sold to one of two private equity firms.One of these private equity firms has stakes in Bethsada parent comany Zenimax.This sale may not happen.

Lets hope whoever gets EA if this sale happens doesn't control the direction of the company.

They are arguably the most anti-consumer gaming company right now, maybe a little change couldnt hurt.

As long as they don,t sell them to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts,then they should be fine.

so people that have no interest or know how of games will own and dictate the direction of a video game company...

well that sucks, I know there's a lot of EA haters out there but I for one love their games, hope this doesn't put the quality of their titles in jeopardy

EA used to be a cool company i dont get it they released games for 3do which was 700$ console but not dreamcast? lol

EA has become a decent company now. Their DLC practices may be questionable, but when you consider that a huge amount of the best games this generation were published by EA then we should show them a little bit of respect. Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, BF3, MOH, The Orange Box, Portal 2, Command and Conquer, Mass Effect, etc, etc etc. They have a long list of high quality games under their belt and considering that alot of these were new IP and they took the risk of distributing and funding these new and untested IPs, they are still pretty decent.
