I personally loved the 2k Football games. Madden has been basically the same stuff over and over again year after year since EA acquired the NFL Licence. They felt like they had no competition at all. Once 2k announced a football game, they got off their a$$es and started focusing on gameplay.

All Pro 2k8 looks sick. Just imagine that with real football players. If 2k had rights to the NFL, it would be an even better game.

I don't think they need to lose the lisence, just the exclusivity. I want NFL 2K8

Madden on the Wii disagree's. On the other consoles it may suck but I had a lot of fun playing 07 on it. Props to EA for doing something different. I guarantee though that if 2k Sports made it, we would never see a single sports game on a Nintendo playform ever again, since 2k Sports has rarely ever put their games on the GC, only a couple of basketball and football games, no hockey which really bugs me. So now we get The Bigs as a sports game which is nice. 2k Sports games are also overrated, they havent had an AAA game since August of 2004, all of their games have been high A and low AA titles. So if anything 2k Sports is also guilty of rehashing their games and keeping them the same. At least EA is trying to evolve their sports titles on the Wii (see Tiger Woods and Madden 07 games).

Losing there licence would not be that great for nfl games. They need to lose there exclusivity because competition between 2 or more companies is always better for the consumer.

madden is the most entertaining game, i spend more hours playing madden then any other game in my collection. Even when they loose the licence it dosnt matter because madden will still be on top as the best and most played football game. And btw that new football game looks like doodoo its just has impressive screen shots its all about game play in sports games and no one will ever make a better football playing system then madden.

I dont really care if they lose it... Why cant both Madden and 2K havwe the NFL licence? (even though when 2K starts making football games again, Madden will go out of business, because 2K is just better) 2K5 has better graphics than any Madden game up to 09, on the 360/PS3 they have equally as good as graphics as a game made 4 years ago... If... WHEN 2k gets the licence back I will be the first to buy the game that will probeblt by $20.00 cheaper than Madden, and 20 times better...

yeah dude MLB 08 The Show is hands down the best baseball game ever made. and i saw footage on 09 recently, it looks stunning, easily the best looking sports game ever made

I would like for them too lose it, because they have made Franchise mode, which by the way is the only reason I play madden unplayable. Once they fix that I don't care about the little features they want just let me play franchise mode from start to finsh, o and fix the progression.
