EA Origin giving away 3 free games (**GIVEAWAY NOW OVER**)

EA sent out emails to all Origin members containing promo codes to get ONE of 3 free games: Bad Company 2, Spore, or Dragon Age: Origins (with Shape PDLC and Dragon Armor DLC).

All you have to do is:

1) Check your email (**the email can be in your spam folder, it was for me, so check your spam**)

2) Download Origin

3) Choose 1 of the 3 games, and add it to your cart

4) Enter promo-code specified in email

5) Download and enjoy!

I'm in Canada, so it's not US only. Though that does leave the option of it being NA only. I don't know if all the emails were sent out already, so check later if it'sn ot in your spam folder.

You can try making an account now, but I doubt it will work. They sent out codes to celebrate their anniversary with existing members.

Possibly. If so, that sucks for those that didn't. I always subscribe just for events like this, I can ignore the rest of the junk.

What's wrong with Origin? It's certainly no Steam, but there's no harm in having it lie around in your hard drive. It won't spoil the rest of your files in there :P

The Promo is randomly selected by their servers who gets one or not, One of my buddies got one but no one else I knew got one. So I contacted EA and that was the answer its random.

I have Dragon Age 2 for 360 and BF3 for PC so I picked Spore......and I played for 2hrs straight. Fun game!

Funny how EA reccon that Steam sales cheapen games yet they give games away for free on Origin in order to get more users.

Im getting BC2, how is it? I havn't played BF3 BTW, so how does it compare to that and does it still have an active community on PC?dracolich55

Bad Company 2 is great fun, I prefer its gameplay over BF3's. I'm not sure about the PC community since I have BC2 for consoles, but I'm sure it's still active. Heck, even Battlefield 2's community is going strong, so you're good for a long time.

I highly doubt it. The only reason why they did this was to celebrate Origin's first anniversary and you only have a first anniversary once, so....:P
