So now the PS3 costs half the price of the launch console and has a newer design (although it has no PS2 backwards compatibility and a few other features.)
The 360 bundle (including the wireless adapter and a few games,) is a newer model with HDMI and likely more reliable.
Both of these purchases are $300 (around $300 for the 360, accessories and games bought separately) cheaper than their initial price tags.
Personally I don't regret buying a launch 360 one bit (though I'm sure some of you do :P ,) but there is a little voice inside me thinking... damn maybe I should have waited.
The good thing about this though is, if you still only have one console (either the PS3 or 360) you can save $300+ if you decide to by the other console today.
