any ps3 owner since day oneis getting screwed imo,
no games all delays.
warhawk is good for like 3 days then you see it is copy and paste of battlefield.
I guess I can get past all the lameness just as long as I get to play MGS4 and Killzone 2 before I die :Dcatlin_czirrSee thats the spirit at this guys happy as long as he/she gets their 2 killer apps. It's great to finally see some NON Fanboy not regret their PS3 purchase.
i say give and take. since the ppl who bought their ps3 early(not sure bout the pal version) will have the emotion chip while the late adopters will have the emulator chip. im just glad i dont have to worry about backwards compatibility as much compare to the ppl who have the emulator chip.
im sure the early adopters will end up buying the sixaxis that includes rumble sooner or later since the controller will eventually die after so many usage since the recharger is built in. i have to say playing games on the ps3 without rumble sucked and im glad its coming back.
It sucks for people who bought a PS3 already, because now they gotta buy a whole new controllercatlin_czirr
No. :|
Nah my second controller will be the dual shock 3. No biggie. Still not as bad as Nintendo's dozens of peripherals. Wiifit board, mario kart wheel, wii zapper...honestly when will it end!
No home..yeah that sucks...what can ya do.
Early 360 owners also got screwed with their 360s without an HDMI port. This happens to all early adopters of any system.lusitanogamer
Ah yes, I love this statement! Obviously every 360 owner has an HDTV, and on top of that all the HDTVs that they have are all HDMI ready. Yes I love how that just works out so nicely!

Actually a majority of HDTVs have HDMI, at least one port. The question though still remains do all gamers have an HDTV.
If we stop and think the PS3 owners are getting a much better deal than the XBOX/360 owners.
The XBOX is no longer supported by M$ and the 360 really don't do much with BC.
The 360 has had several changes in hardware (some required purchaseing the later version at almost the cost of a PS3). And the addons for the 360 are priced at almost double or more of what the same would cost for anything else.
So with this who really is getting milked.
people buy extra controllers all the time...this is no different!daveg1Yes it is!! This is just like cows claiming Lemmings got screwed because now the 360 comes with HDMI. Freaking hypocrites....

It isn't an emulator chip... LOL. Another point you make is how stupid it is to have a non-replaceable battery in the controller. How lame is that?

It goes both ways either way you look at it. Cows will have to buy a new controller if they want rumble. Lemmings will have to guy a new system if they want HDMI or if they want a larger harddrive that's more than 20 gig (same with 20 gig PS3 owners.) Sheep will have to buy a new system if Nintendo released a new Wii with HD output that goes beyond the 480p nonesense. Just like the DS when you get a slim version later. Or with the PSP. Either way, all early adapters get screwed over one way or the other. Isn't this common knowledge to everyone?

The 360 can upgrade the HD, so no you don't need to buy a whole new system...

That's why I said or. ;) If you want a bigger harddrive, you gotta pay more for one. Which appiles to the PS3 as well. We're seeing systems now with larger harddrives already which would be cheaper to buy now then having to upgrade from an early system you bought. But either way though, early adapters always get the shaft one way or the other.
It sucks for people who bought a PS3 already, because now they gotta buy a whole new controller, when they will eventually release a cheaper better built PS3 combo with the Dual shock 3 included, lame! It seems like 07 is a crappy year to be a PS3 owner, no really stand out games, no rumble, no HOME, what the heck?catlin_czirralot of launch ps3 owners sold their ps3s on ebay for 1000 bucks or more. least the smart ones did:P
i myself waited for a 100 bucks off the 60 gig ps3. 300 bucks for a next gen gaming system and 200 bucks for a next gen movie player was fair to me:D

how lame is itwhenthe battery last for ten years. the buttons don't even last that long on any controller.[QUOTE="snyper1982"][QUOTE="istreakforfood"]i say give and take. since the ppl who bought their ps3 early(not sure bout the pal version) will have the emotion chip while the late adopters will have the emulator chip. im just glad i dont have to worry about backwards compatibility as much compare to the ppl who have the emulator chip.

how lame is itwhenthe battery last for ten years. the buttons don't even last that long on any controller. the x button on one of my ps3 controllers sticks pretty bad. and yes i washed my hands be4 i touch my controllers. i guess i blame motorstorm lol.the good thing is i only paid 30 bucks for both a extra controller plus a sony hdmi wire both were sealed up brand new!!

This same thing happened with the original ps.
