Was anybody looking forward to these 2?

I'm sure all 21 people looking foward to The Getaway are crying.

Disappointed over Eight Days though, that was looking awesome.

I didnt really know enough about either game to care. I thought the Getaway looked good, but I didnt know anything about Eight Days. Now that I'm actually hearing about it, it sounded cool, lol.

Oh well, maybe Sony knew these games were going to suck so they stopped them. That's fine with me. Now let's get Home and Killzone 2 already!

Exactly,according to their statement they are shifting production to this years exclusive titles rather than working over 2009-10 titles thats a smart move no doubt but for now it should be taken as stopped until its confirm its Scrapped because scrapping big budget titles like those seems senseless but then again nowdays anything is expected lol.

It's because Sony doesn't want exclusives for its system. It's too busy trying to sell the blu-ray tech for the delaystation so that people who own a PS3 can see the pores on an actor's face while they watch a movie. Woopee. Sony should just ditch the entire effort and offer an Adapter that can plug whatever games are left from the PS3 into an Xbox 360.

I was looking forward to eight days. it looked like a mix of strangle hold and uncharted. i wonder what the game looks like right now since it jsut endd production and the team had li ke 3 years so far i nthe dev cycleimapieceofwood

It was probably Vaporware the entire time, Sony LONDON has been working on home, so this was probably meant for after Home when it was released in 2007.

Making Home turned out harder than expected.

UPDATE: It has now been confirmed that these projects have been shelved permanently, and work is not scheduled to restart at a later date.
