Uh huh, and the original 360 can only upscale through VGA...
what is the point of this thread? This should be on the 360 board if anything.

Cmon seriously. Does it even matter that it upscales regular dvd's to 1080p. A regular dvd is a regular dvd. The quality does not get better if it is upscaled because its still the quality of the dvd that matters lolpeter360it does matter just look at how different the xbox games look on the 360 when they're up scaled to 720p

Reason xbox games look better on the 360 is because the 360 puts antialiasing on the games which gets rid of jaggies when they are upscaled. The same cannot be said about dvd's because there is no antialiasing for dvd's they are what they are.

Yeah I just tried and it was disappointing, but expected. The screen is full of the image, no side-boxing, but is pixel'd as all heck.Â
