Endless reasons why the PS3 has won the console war.

#1. GAMES.  Yes, that's right, you heard me.  The PS3 has a nice assortment of games out right NOW, and plenty more on the way.

2. Hardware.  Correct!  The PS3 has the best hardware out of all of the current consoles at this time.  A PC is not a console, so, a PC is not a valid argument here.

3. Fanbase.  Worldwide, need I say more?  PS2 powa!

4. HUGE titles.  MGS, DMC...well...FF, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Killzone (major hype), Heavenly Sword (hyped), God of War 3 (major hype), Shadow of the Colossus 2 (major hype),  Lair (hyped), Warhawk (hyped), Tekken 6 (hyped), and all of the surprises...

5. THE original, free, 3D online universe! PlayStation 3's Home is smashing the WiiWorld.

6. SIXAXIS + Rumble FTW!

7. MS had to come up with a new console close to the PS3!  You know, the "elite" unless it's some April Fools joke.

8. Blu-Ray.  Last time I checked, Blu-Ray was the most popular next-gen media format.  The PS3 comes with one included.  No need to buy a CLUNKY, $129 + tax add-on. 

9. Sony is serious.  They're not gimmicky (Hint, hint, Nintendo).  The PS3 is next-gen (or current-gen), not fake-gen, or lame-gen, or WATERED-DOWN-GEN!

10. Why the big let down?  The HYPE machine was ravenous when the PS3 was being showcased back in the day.  This shows that the PS3 has a LOT of untapped potential that probably will take years to get into.  Expect better and better products and services from your PS3!

Endless is the amount of PS3 users that will build up over the next several years.  Endless is the amount of game hours that will be logged on Home in the next several months and years to come.  Endless refers to the huge impact that the PS3 has already made and will continue to make on the gaming market.  If you want me to come up with an endless list, I would never be able to complete it or press the SUBMIT button.  It would be endless.  I only gave you a small fraction of said list.

1. Games - name them. No seriously. Name a released exclusive that justifies buying the system. You spending $500+ for Motorstorm and Resistance?

2. Hardware - PC is relevant, you want to price at $500+ you'd better outperform a gaming PC. It doesn't help that the 360 has superior RAM and GPU.

3. Fanbase - people who will stick with the PS2, casuals who bought it when it was $150 or less, and people who only bought it for GTA are not going to spend $500 now for a PS3.

4. Huge Titles- Unproven IPs, a pair of kids games, a JRPG that will wind up on the 360, and God of War 3 (eventually). Nice.

5. Free online with poor friend management, no achievement points, no really compelling game arcade, and an unproven "HOME" service.

6. Sixaxis has no rumble, and Sony has yet to make a move to include it. "Buh...bu...bu they settled with Immersion" - because they had to. We'll see if they release a rumble-enabled controller. Not that it will make existing games gain rumble.

7. MS just promised me the world. Elite is amazing, 120gb for my music, includes all of the adapters I could ever need to hook it up anywhere I go, and it's still cheaper than a PS3.

8. Blu-Ray - do people run out and buy a PS2 when they need a DVD player? If Blu-Ray wins, stand-alone Blu-Ray players offering far superior playback will cost much less than the PS3.

9. Sony is absolutely gimmicky. "True HD" - give me a break, nothing but marketing hype - people buy 1080p HDTVs then watch DVDs on them, great use of money. The SixAxis is a complete gimmick - every review of the tilt controls in games has been lukewarm at best.

10. Untapped potential eh? I want to game now, not in two years. I'm not sitting around *waiting* because, frankly, if you want long enough you're dead. I'm waiting until April 29, and then I've waited *far* long enough to jump into the HD gaming generation.

Plus, I agree with this one to an extent on point 7. To me, the elite blows. no need to release 3 versions of the same console, and the HDD is a rip. Then again, I can't afford any of the Next gen consoles, so i don't really need to worry about how much i'm getting ripped off
