I could see that. Publishers go where the cheapest profits are to be found, and if they can get a greater rate of return out of mobile gaming, then there's no real reason for them to try to keep me as a customer. It sucks, but there's not much I can do about it.lowe0

Sorry I pick console/PC gaming over Mobile anyday.

Consoles always have their place? Console hardware and software sales are worst since 6 years. Sony and MS are even testing the waters in mobile gaming. The writing is on the wall.i3DS

One month of poor sales isn't really an indicator that consoles are on their way out.

Wrong on both accounts. Nothing is getting replaced.

Year into a generation with the market almost saturated with the current systems isn't a good time to discuss sales. And PC gaming is still quite strong. There's a place in the market for all these aspects of gaming.

Mobile gaming is growing, but it taps into newly created group of smartphone users rather than cannibalizing sales from core gamers and such.

Here's the issue: There are way too many games and accompanying consoles. The market is oversaturated with games, and how many can you buy?

I've learned how everybody here hates Apple, but regardless, they did set the stage for this, since mobile gaming seems to be going to more unified platforms like iOS and Android(which GS hails as God of mobile).

And I'm still getting Apple products, haters gonna hate.

They're saying PC games consumed more shelf space than console games in the Ninties. Well at least part of that was because PC games came in huge boxes back then:

Weird, my PC seems to have replaced my consoles. I have a thing for quality though, maybe that's why.

I will never be a "mobile gamer". I couldn't stand only playing shallow mini gamess over and over

i think it depends on who your friends are and who you socialize with. most of my friends are intellectuals and work in fields that are tech based...most of my friends are pc gamers. now my other friends, who i wouldnt say are the brightest crayons in a box, playing nothing but consoles, think cod is the greatest game ever made, and think that the fact that im into pc gaming is "weird". when i tell them that pc is graphically superior they think im lying or just being a fanboy. some drool and ask me what it takes to have a rig when they see what a rig is capable of.

also another thing ive noticed, depends on your age. i dont know alot of young kids who pc game, probably because they dont have the means to build or purchase parts for a rig. i have i think 1 individual on my steam list who is 15 years old and hes quite the smart little kid.

Why don't you go at steam store and ask if they have console games?

3 console vs 1 PC, PC has it's own crowd of gamers... or else why are there more high rated exclusive game if the platforme is dead?

Crysis 2 is still on PC... if you haven't notice, more and more games are going multiplate and less exclusive... Consoles don't have a bunch of exclusives.
