Did you know the PS3 has inferior ports of all major multiplats? Yes the PS3 has Blu-Ray, but the graphics are sub-par so who cares.

Killzone 2 and hundreds of articles about how amazing the graphics are completely fault your claim. You lost. Ports LOL! Who cares... Most ports are almost near identical. Fallout 3 looks better on PS3 all the COD games look the same on all platforms and we have uncharted 2 btw. The graphics argument shouldn't even be brought up by you lems. Have fun with teh unreal engine for 2 more years. hahaha

Well, while we're on the topic of digitally distributed movies. I saw an SD movie from the PSN movie story and the quality was surprisingly good. It looked like upscaled DVD. Or maybe it just looked like that because the PS3 was upscaling...

We're talking about movies here, not games, so what exactly do multiplat games have to do with this?

thats not true, at least for me...buffering times are very short and quality is very good everytime I watch a movie..in fact I was amazed at how good it looked the first time I saw it. I havent had any trouble loading the movies, they buffer for about 10 secs and then the movie plays flawlessly, I can even fast forward or rewind...I think its an awesome service.

I'm sorry but Engadget needs to get a better internet connection.

I wait about 10 seconds after selecting the movie until it starts to play. I get 3-4 bars when it selects my HD quality play back. I watched The Thing in HD and it looked just as good as Blu Ray.

So I have no idea wtf they are talking about. They probly have DSL or some other low speed connection.
