England has an Army?

I was playing some CoD3(at my pals) and I started talkin about England to a guy (it started over a conversation about allied weapons pwning axis weapons) and he talked about how they have an Army and I was like no way dood...they haven't had an army since like ww1.....turns out they have had an army...anyways I ended up gettin the living life pwned outta myself as 3 players on our team happened to be British....It got so bad I looked it up wikipedia.com and found to my own suprise they have one the strongest armies in teh world....I was just wondeing if anyone else ever has learned something frm a video game? I mean I never would have known England has an army if it hadn't of been for a video game...

I thought they had like a small special agents group that attacked other armies and stuff not a whole freakin army!! anyways just wonderin....

The United Kingdom fields one of the most highly trained military forces in the world, so yes, we have an army. How else would we have fought during World War's one and two, and every other war that we have fought in?

CAnt beleive you didnt know that , bet your america (no offense xD) in WW2 we were the last standing Allied nation that had to defend against the Germans in france while the Americans geared up and headed out.

Indeed, the two biggest empires in the 20th century were Japan and the UK. It's nothing to do with size, its how well your population is managed- the bigger the population the harder they are to control and train.

 Yea but im pretty sure thats set up, like in FHM magazine in the UK, they have similar stuff with woman asking silly questions, with even stupider anwsers ... dont beleive its legit at all.

Canada was part of  the british empire .. an empire that was actually the largest the world has ever seen 25 percent of the worlds population and landmass..

The size of a country dosen't really mean if it will have an army or not. And England use to have the best military...then American came along.
