I honestly can't decide...... Xbox Live beats PSN. But PSN is free. I'm excited for KZ2, Lair and GT5 on PS3, but at the same time, I want to play Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3, and Forza 2.

Graphics wise, It is starting to show that PS3 is more powerful (i.e. Killzone 2)

I think the clincher for PS3 may be Blu-Ray since HD-DVD is gunna flop.

I own both, get a 360, because you can play Forza 2 NOW and Halo 3 in a couple months. Right now, my PS3 just plays blu ray movies and runs protein molecule simulations.

Get them both...but if you have to have one right now and dont already have a Premium 360 just get the $399 Premium 360 and get a PS3 for Xmas....because come Xmas time PS3 will be worthy and have a slew of games out/coming.Uptown

Forza 2 is a horrible reason to get a 360, with all the rumors (which have happened ot hundreds of people) about it breaking 360's.

Doesent that 65whatever chip just keep the 360 from overheating too much? I odnt think it has to do with the red lights.

Well,you can play Guitar Hero on all platforms... I would say definately get the Ps3.Dualshockin

I didn't know Guitar Hero was out for the PS3, I do know, however, that it is out for the Xbox 360. And, if you know how to get the ps2 guitar to work with the PS3, let me know.

The heat warps the motherboard which causes the red rings.

If Halo is what you're after then get the 360. Guitar Hero is Multiplat but Forza 2 is also pretty fun

You basically answer your own question since Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3 and Forza 2 all will be available in a couple of months (Forza 2 is already out).

Killzone 2 (which was recently presented as a pre-pre-alpha (!)) and GT5 probably won't be out for quite some time - probably late next year at best when it comes to GT5.

If you want a great selection of great games to play this autumn go for the 360.

Guitar Hero 3 will be on the PS3 also. I'd also suggest if you go the 360 route you just go with the premium unless you plan ondownloading all sorts of hd movies.

Yeah... the games you want for: PS3 Lair will be out soon. Killzone 2 is next year. GTHD is free but you've have to wait until next year for GT5. Resistance would likely fill your Killzone void along with Haze and Unreal this year. Rachet and Clank, Heavenly Sword and Drakes Fortune are also set for this year.

Its really to your likings most games for ps3 that are AAA quality are coming out in 08

while 360 AAA quality is pretty much coming this fall

If yyou do decide to go with 360 i would suggest you wait another month(incase of a price drop!!)

well, i was in the same boat as u for a month.

i even bought a elite but i was scared ms would drop the price this month or next. so i took it back and got my money back.

then sony drops the ps3 price and that 5 free blue ray movie deal made it a no brainer.

i bought a ps3 last nite. it came with no hd cable. that pissed me off looking how bright and blurry the ps3 games were.

and the psn only had like 20 demos and they take a long time to download.

i only shut my 360 off becuase i was scared it would die but i shut my ps3 off a few times because i was board.

xbox has over 100 game demos plus the 50 arcade trails. which i had alot of fun with in the 2 weeks i owned my elite.

im sure when i get my hdmi cable out of the mail from ebay. and i start up my gamefly im gonna have a blast with my ps3 tho.

tip for tc. buy either ur ps3 or elite at walmart. u get 90 days to return them no questions asked...

u also get a free month of xbl with ur 360. try the demos rent games for a month return it get ur money back. puy a ps3 try it out return it if u dont like it by then both console might have real price drops...

Get PS3 first because in the future they gonna take the PS2 emotion chip out which won't let you play PS2 games.

And the X360 65nm chip is coming in future X360 models so really, get a X360 in the future.

Guitar Hero 3 is also coming out for the PS3, you have GT5 so you don't really need Forza 2, and Halo 3 will probably come out for the PC which you already have. :)Elviathan

Get PS3 first because in the future they gonna take the PS2 emotion chip out which won't let you play PS2 games.

And the X360 65nm chip is coming in future X360 models so really, get a X360 in the future.

for the record ps3 gets alot hotter then the 360 does.but the ps3 isnt as loud

Guitar Hero 3 and rock Band, wiil be released for PS3 also...

And, for me, the time of the X360 is gone, the future is the PS3.

I ask you get a PS3...

Also, I had an Xbox, and ive played both Halo's, but looks like this is 1 game that the Xbox360 has me wanting. But dont worry Killzone2 is coming, but not this year sadly. Guitar Hero 3...psh forget that, get Rock Band when it comes out. Forza 2 is also a game I cant really argue not being able to play...but hey Gran Turismo is coming for the PS3 so dont sweat it.
