Epic endings?!!

So, last night, I just beat Lost Odyssey. Overall, I would have given the game a solid 8 out of 10. But after such a great ending, I would give it a 9 out of 10 or higher. I highly recommend this game. JRPG people, this is the closest we're getting until FF13.

Other games with great endings were:

FF7, FF10, Chrono Trigger (Anthology ps1 version), Original Mario Bros., Tekken games, Bioshock (the good ending, though it's incredibly too short), Kingdom Hearts, Golden Sun 2, and a few others off the top of my head.

What is yours. There are a lot more for me, I just can't remember them all.

That one. And I liked the ending to GTA IV, Halo CE's ending, Ace Combat 6 had a pretty good story and ending. R&C Future really made me want a sequel. Recently, those would be my favorite endings in games. Not many games had endings that made me remember them much.

BioShocks is easily the best of the modern ones IMO.

every mgs game(well not so much 2) has had epic endings....so had god of war..Kingdom Hearts games have also had some amazing endings and FF games...stereointegrity

it depends on who you are ... mgs2 ending is actually my favorite ending of the franchise.

Shadow of the Clossus- The game was epic all the way to the end. I kept on playing it to see if I could change the ending.

Metal Gear Solid 3- It gave a new meaning to EPIC with the best ending ever which can/will/might only be surpassed by MGS4.

Lunar: The Silver Star.

Halo 3's ending was also epic-feeling.

As epic as they come.

Everything leading upto the end and the ending itself scream epic.

I can't wait to see MSG 4 flop. But this Lost Odyessy sounds pretty awesome. I'm going to have to pick that up after I'm done with Mass Effect.

Lunar 2, the eternal blue. The story was fantastic, the first ending was great but then they add on an epologue which added again so much to the game and an even better ending. Ten years later and im still waiting for a 3rd installment

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

I loved Solidus, he seemed like the tragic villain in my eyes.

So far, seems people like MGS4, Lunar series, and Mass Effect.

Nice, you guys have great games. A lot of times I get the really casual gamer who's only beat a couple of games and throws them out there. Cudos, we gamers know the good games!!
