It's a complicated situation with MGS4, yeah in the past they said it's for PS3, and then more rumors came and now they just decide to give no comment thus making the problem unsolvable, until some statement is made, but I do agree it's out of control.

 MGS4 isn't made by 1st party, so it has a chance, regardless of what the devs say. Just look at what Capcom did with DMC4

Exaclty, Kojima didn't deny that MGS4 wouldn't be coming to PS3, he just beats aroundf the bush or uses different words, that whats so iffy about that. 

OK first how is this ownage? I mean alot of PS3 owners didint care if it was true or not. Trust me I went to the PS3 fourms alot said "yea it would be nice, but we dont really care" so no ownage is given. Also to not I dont give a dam since I dont really like gears to me it has no varity at all. I hope part 2 will be better.

P.S I like all the systems this time around so i'm not a fanboy.

Why do people act like MGS4 is a first party title. I always hear, "you don't see cows talking about Halo 3 on PS3" and crap like that. Lets get one thing straight. Halo 3 and Gears... first party titles, doesnt matter what happens they cannot EVER be ported to anohter system without Microsoft's permission. MGS4, third party, and since theres no excclusivity deal as of now it could very easily be ported. Got it? Good.

Unless you are an attorny at Konami or Sony, you have no idea if they have an exclusive deal or not. It is highly probable though as Sony is producing the MGS Film.

Yeah.. I'm sure a few people other than the attourneys know that. Also thats the kind of thing they announce. And for the above posts about it being 2nd or 3rd party true, but Microsoft owns the rights to the IP which makes the difference negligible.

MGS never had an exclusive deal. MGS was remade for the gamecube and MGS2 was ported to the xbox. MGS3 is the only one thats completely exclusive.
