Epic Mickey-8.0 at IGN and 8.2 at Gametrailers

Main complaints are the camera, combat and that if you come back to an area where you used paint thinner, it will be like nothing changed.

The new IGN Nintendo executive editor seems to be good. He is serious and very accessible, this guy has potential.

So the general consensus is that the game's heart and presentation were in the right place, but it had a clumsy execution - big issues such as camera, controls and lack of gameplay refinement. Issues like camera and controls aren't areas GS has traditionally been very lenient on. I'm thinking this could potentially dip down to the 7s here.

Good scores. GS will probably give it a 7.5 or 8. I am still getting this game but it might end up being a Xmas gift so I wait.

After the reviews and the demo I played at Best Buy

I am massively disappointed.

Saw it coming. The gameplay looked so "meh" at E3, so I didn't know what people saw in it. I'll keep it on the radar, but it's not on the top of my most wanted games list.

The demo I played.. I couldnt even believe how bad the camera/ controls were.... How could the guy who made a game with basically the best gameplay ever make another that just falls so flat in that department?..Honestly to me it seems like he should have made movie rather than a game because he was so passionate about the story, and restoring the glory of mickey as an icon and a hero.. /sadness

Just cause mickey is part of disney which targets towrds kids does not mean anyway or from its kiddie. that like saying people can't watch cartoon cause there kiddie. but there cartoons for adults like simpoions, family guy, south park etc... you should no better.

Ummm...I thinking YOU and another poster took what I said the wrong way. I didnt say it was kiddie...Im saying it in more of a "sarcastic" way in like what most people think of it. So ...yea...And I watch cartoons and own several on DVD and im fixing to be 39...So im grown up bro..And grown up enough that I admit I watch cartoons and dont care what people think. Yea there no "sarastic thing in that... you got to better than trying to back out of that. Yes you did say it was Kiddie its right up there with the bold italitc and underline. Now if that is the case you should of explain it better like saying you were being "sarastic or put a face tounge like this :P at the end of what you were saying.

the game was hype for one reason it started of as a 360 ps3 and if im not mistaken windows. than it become a wii exclusive than haters came out and starting to hate it and some will support it.
