I definitely want to see that updated UE3 running Gears on 360 :P

Let's see. If Gears 3 pulls it off, the DC from Cows will be overwhelming.

Epic haven't been on top graphically since Gears 1. When that was first shown even PC gamers cowered in fear.

The only issue is that the Gears series isnt known as the tour fe force in graphical fidelity....Its gone to KZ2, U2, and GOW3...:)

Sure but when Gears 2 came nothing on consoles compared to it.I dont care if cows say its that "sub HD ugly textures all around me" MGS4,the thing is till KZ2 came Gears 2 was the best.

So what you're saying, is Gears is less known for looking great then games it's outsold By no small amount? Gears of War was an incredible looking game when it released. Gears 2 is great looking, arguably still the best looking console game, when Gears 1 was released there were few arguments

They are gonna get owned with Alan wake... beat to the console graphics king, sorry epic.

Gears 1 and 2 were arguably the best looking console games until so KZ2 so I would say the series has been known to have fantastic graphics.

So....it seems Gears3 will have the graphics of those pics on 360! :o

I know, its just a tech demo. But Gears2 ended up looking as good as the UE3.5 demo so....lets just hope it happens again :P

They don't need to worry about graphics, they should focus on fixing the online.

GEOW 2 came before the others you mentioned. Graphics are still opinions, until you get technical.

If by "their own leagues" you mean a bit better, then i agree. Still a few games like Alan Wake and Crysis2 will change that soon...

They don't need to worry about graphics, they should focus on fixing the online.

Graphical quality is opinion. unless you get technica, which you wont as i'm sure you know little about the aforementioned games.

One could state Mario Galaxy is console graphics king, and be just as correct as you claiming Killzone or UC2 is.

I wouldnt even mention God Of War though

I own all the mentioned games too, aside from GOW3.

And no GOW3 does not look like CGI ... Unless you're speaking of the kind of CGI which was popular before i was born. It looks excellent yes, but CGI, no.

Cows simply wont let this be crowned graphics king, which it clearly will be IF it looks like the displayed image in-game.

"Maintain"? They only had "visual leadership" from Gears 1's launch until Uncharted 1's launch, IMO. Metal Gear Solid if you don't agree with Uncharted 1. Since then it has been Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and God of War 3 that all look better than Gears 2. I don't know where he got this idea that they have anything to "maintain". Nice to see it's not just "TEH COWZ" obsessing over graphics, isn't it? ;)Hahadouken

The overall opinion was that GEOW 2 was graphics king however, just like how everyone doesn't agree that KZ2/UC2 are. Also it is cliff, not the lemmings. They also know they have been recently bested/caught up to, so they are going to improve.

MGS4 looks worse then both UC1 and Gears 1 ... It's so overrated it's almost funny.
