errmm... the Playstation Move is... meh.

after watching sony's conference regarding the wand, and demonstrations of games like archery, boxing, painting etc etc: i came to the impression that all those games could be done on microsofts NATAL- minus the wand.

i'm a big sony fan but eh: the PS Move is a huge disappointment in my opinion

I wonder why Sony is planning to release Wii Sports on the PS3.

After watching the giant ripoff-fest, I can safely assume that Sony will feel no shame at ripping off game ideas too from Nintendo. They have done it in the past, and it worked. Unfortunately I don't think it will work this time because no sane "casual gamer" will go pick up a ps3, a camera and a controller instead of only the Wii just to see HD.

The only good thing coming out of this demonstration is seeing wii hater sony fanboys enbracing the "Move" just because it is made by Sony.

I don't see this new toy having any succes with games like the demos they showed. Nintendo is coming with the long awaited Zelda with motion plus controls and I don't think Sony will have anything to top that.

The Gladiator demo had me interested... everything else = meh!

I'm convinced it will do great. Wii is pointless to buy now unless seen as a toy for a kid imo. Move is more precise + has the added the camera function and PS3 has far better graphics/physics. yes it's much more improved- but i'm forced to buy a camera and to Move-remotes to fully experience it.

Sony is not trying to win over fans of traditional/hardcore gaming. They already have them locked up. They are making a play for the new videogame consumers Nintendo has unearthed.

Geez, people are really seeing something wrong for going after a market that has bought million upon millions of Wii units? Also I don't think most ps3 fans or even cows hate on the wii, we just see no need in playing games with last gen graphics. But you bring that gameplay, with this gens graphics, aswell as physics, now were talking. I forsee some definite drinking nights with the buds and beating the crap out of each other in that Fighting game they showed off lol.

I'll wait till more (non-party) titles get announced utilising Move, then i'll decide whether to get interested or not in this product... i have to admit though SOCOM+ Move looked quite interesting..

(i can only imagine the chaos implementing Move controls to Heavenly Sword 2 lol... fighting those large nos of enemies :P)

Who knows though maybe Move might actually workwith the likes of Killzone 3 :)

Way I see it, it's a good form of flattery.

But at the cost they wish to charge people with it: Nope...not interested.

So far I'm not sold they didnt show me anything interesting on it maybe that will change at E3 who knows.

basically sony wants to claim the ps3 "only does everything".

That means that any feature a console has is going to eventually be released on the ps3 only worse, and several years later.

People on here are hilarious. It is somehow the most immoral act you can do by trying to take advantage of an audience that another competitor has unearthed.

It would be like if McDonald's sold a hamburger and Burger King sold Hamburger and fries and after McDonals saw that people liked fries with their hamburger they wanted to make hamburger and fries combo, but couldn't because Burger King did it first.

Fist off: I'd just like to say that I find it funny how Sony made such a blatant rip-off of the Wii Remote. It's not like we all saw something like this coming though, so I am shouldn't be all that surprised.

I'll have to use Playstation Move before passing judgement, although I am very skeptical that it will succeed (or have much 3rd party support) considering how late it is coming out in the PS3's life-cycle. I just hope there will be some good games with it and perhaps some compatibility with older titles through software updates. I wouldn't mind a Wii Sports type game on the PS3 for it would make Move much easier to compare to the Wii Remote.
