Yet Lemmings arent even hyping this game due to the fact that we have the best GOTY lineup Halo 3 Mass Effect and Bioshock. Play the demo, you will be surprised as was I. oh yeah
As fun as the Eternal Sonata demo was, I'm hesitant to claim AAA on it yet. I know nothing about the depth and story. Just the battle engine (which is a blast) and the graphics (great cell shading).
Out of the 3 JRPG's coming out for 360 this year Lost Oddysey is the most hyped but only because that game looks more appealing for the 360 market. ES will be great but it's not going to sell that well. BD...well it's for ahrdcore RPG fans only. Terribly slow and the stroy is so boring. Gameplay is decent.
I think it will do well, but it may turn into a "Beyond good and Evil" type game that not many people buy. I'm getting it because I like RPG's and I like Choppin, but I can see it getting missed, as you say, with the hype of Bioshock, Halo 3 and Mass Effect (though this may also go down the not many people buy it road)

I don't know. It would have been nice to have some idea why you are wandering around fighting evil flowers and birds.
FF13 will be better. but hey looks like a pretty descent RPGazimiballer
i am sorry but how can you possibly compare a game coming out next month to a game coming out in 2009(FF in North America possibly Japan version in 2008 ) i mean seriously of course it will be better its going to have 1.5 YEARS more dev time. At least compare it to Folklore which is the only PS3 rpg out this year that makes it more fair.
How does it have a chance at AAA? It's a freaking button masher for christ's sake. Go into the sun "sun slash!", "fire blast!", "orange glow!". Rarely did I find myself going into the dark.
It's a pretty game though......

No way will it be better then persona 3. That got a 8.5, so my bet is that eternal sonata (which is by far the best jrpg that xbox 360) will get a 7.5-8.0 at best.
