How is SCEA so incompetent?

****!
I just paid for sleeping dogs on Steam. Didn't even know I had it through P3+
****!
At least it was 75% off.
Yep I've already addressed this in a blog before. Sony loves it's European Plus Members but gives us Americans the finger constantly. It's clear who Sony favors.
I want the same games. I want Sleeping Dogs, not sh!tty Madden games or a game for Vita that I can't even play.
We Americans are getting screwed and the reason I say that is because I am curently playing Sleeping Dogs right now. The game is off the nebula! Wei Shen dawg!! Anyways yea we Americans are getting screwed here sleeping Dogs is the S***.
I'm going to pick up the 3 month deal for £7.99 and get me some Sleeping Dogs and that F1 carting game race stars or what ever.
its not very good. basically its bf2142 meets crysis 2 mp if you subtract half the fun Oh really? Well then once again US PS+ users got completely screwed :P Not sure why they can't have the same games available across all regions.. Because Playstation is not unified. SCE is split into different regions and within those regions, the regional command has control over the Playstation Store. For example, if a developer wants to release a game on PSN, it needs to send and pay a submission fee to each regionally SCE division. So if a game gets approval in North America, it doesn't mean it will be approved in Europe.[QUOTE="ionusX"]

Don't think I've even heard of Section 8: Prejudice before lol Still Sleeping Dogs will be a blast! :D

Yep.
Basically it's the same thing with Nintendo of America. They always turn away great games from Japan even though the fanbase wants them, SCEA is just out of touch with reality.
I think I'm going to stop buying Vita games....and just get PS+.ShadowDeathX
Smart logic. I bought my Vita around Black Friday so I already had more games from PS+ compared to hard copies (ACII:Liberation). PS+ gave me Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush and that Wipeout game. Now I see Ninja Gaiden. If you have a Vita get PSN+ Plus you get deals on Vita games and DLC.
Delicious. I welcome more months of better EU treatment.Floppy_JimSame; we've got shat on in the past.
Kind of serves amaericans right for supporting the 360 more, EU supports the PS3 more so they get rewarded. I'd love to know if that actually has any bearing.

Eddie-Vedder
That is the stupid reasoning. So you punish those that bought PS3s in America because other people won't? If that is Sony logic then they can kiss goodbye whatever market share they have this gen next gen.
Sleeping Dogs is one of the EU Plus games for next month, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is the last game for January in NA. The big NA game for January was Darksiders, we don't know what the next big PS3 game for February will be.
I was mad at first but same time watever. Im still getting a new vita game to play and I wouldint be shocked if sleeping dogs came free sooner or later for US.
potentially stupid question,if i get ps3 now and psPlus,do i get the older free games like arkham city too?or do you have to be subscribed at the time of the offer to get the games?
If it's no longer on the store you cannot get it, I'm not sure if Arkham City is still up though. I didn't get that game in the US.potentially stupid question,if i get ps3 now and psPlus,do i get the older free games like arkham city too?or do you have to be subscribed at the time of the offer to get the games?

Well, Ninja Gaiden is pretty awesome. People shouldn't complain about that.
DarkLink77
If the PS3 version was given away, I'd be more than content.
And Steam members get the best version of sleeping dogs for 75% off ^_^SilenthpsWell free does beat 75% off. Hell I got it for 91% off on Steam and guess what....Free even beats 91% off. I am a bit lost here. What games do we (American) get for free this coming month?

Ah, sh!t. Didn't see that it was on the Vita. Yep, that's pretty useless.[QUOTE="Silenthps"]And Steam members get the best version of sleeping dogs for 75% off ^_^AmazonTreeBoaWell free does beat 75% off. For us its usally a by week thing. So this week whats free is NGS+.
You need to be subscribed and at least "purchase" these games while they are up for offer. You don't nessessarily need to download them untill your ready to play them, but they need to be in your purchased list before they change.potentially stupid question,if i get ps3 now and psPlus,do i get the older free games like arkham city too?or do you have to be subscribed at the time of the offer to get the games?

It's not 'free', it's what you get as part of your paid for subscription to plus....paid for subscription. Might be better than subbing to xbox, it may even be cheap but free it is not.

Yup, so I don't know why people are freaking out over this. We still have no idea what is coming to NA for PS+ in February (even though the EU will still probably have a better month :P).I like EU style better. Announce everything for the month at once, that way nobody freaks out when it's not the best week.
Superior version is worth the extra cost :P****!

Americans are just incapable of understanding that they can't have everything that everyone else has.JohnF111You shouldn't lump all Americans together, I certainly don't feel entitled to the games EU gets, and I'm an American. I understand it's just publishers making deals with either the EU or the NA region.
