That's very different with "best launch", as you said.  The European launch can't be considered the best, since it was delayed from an initial world wide launch.

The price isn't all that bad, i mean europe now has a better economy than the US, you can't expect it to be 300 euro but of course it ias more expensive in some areas, i don't think it will be as big as everyone thinks cus we still play ps2 over here, of course most european gamers will buy one sometime but for now it's mostly ps2, not even 360 has did as well as it has in the US and thats cheaperPaddy234

Unless PS3 will be getting some more decent games in the next month it will be a horrible launch. Even after 4 months it still doesnt have a nice amount of good games. Plus the BC is worse than the other PS3s' BC.

High prices, lack of system sellers, BC mess up.

Hardly the best but with a mooted 300,000 units ready for the UK then it looks set to at least beat the PSP's record launch.

I just hope thy do some decent advertising along the lines of showing off the graphics in games like Motorstorm and the media capabilities as apposed to rolling eggs with the controller.
