Euro PS3 lovers be GRATEFUL!!

I'm tired of hearing Euro gamers complaining about the PS3. Sony actually loves you guys more than the rest of us.

1. Sure the PS3 launch was delayed for 3 months, but that just means that you'll have fewer hardware issues because Sony's production and quality control has gotten that much better. 

2. If you think you'll be suffering the same console shortages we saw here in the West...think again. Sony has learned not to undership and PS3s will be readily available for you guys. No more PS3 related murders!!! I envy you guys!

3. Yes the backward compatability hardware in American and Japanese PS3s has been removed and your version of the PS3 will have inferior BC support.

But as Sony has stated, you should be happy about it because Sony is focusing on future games, not past games now. Expect great things with the PS3! Sony is looking forward, not backward...up, not down....right, not left. You get the idea.

Im thinking about canceling my pre order and returning all my ps2 games i just got for it, The price is higher, Theirs less in it and it gets released later yet Pal regions were the ps2 biggist market i belive, I call that a slap in the face, All this is componded by the lack of games out at the moment.

The only exclusive atm of any quality is Rfom, The march period is spose to be the kick start for the ps3 but all i see is multiplatform games and Vf which is a timed exclusive and will probaly be better on the 360, Then you got Motostorm which to me seems like a tech demo, It appears shallow it only features deserts and while the overall graphics appear good in places its standard stuff even sub par and i see it getting repetitive and stale,

All signs point into the direction that the ps3 is one of the worst launch systems ever made and only the people who have money to burn should buy one, I know i keep my pre order mainly for the Br player but i aint gona support Sony, Ill import all my games for half the rrp and wont but any hardware from sony except for the six axis and if i do buy other hardware it will be from someone elese.

Why the hell did they worsen  the BC for us europeans? That was the most idiotic thing I've ever heard and I'm not getting a ps3 now. Now I must buy a ps2 -.-

The shortages never happened in the US, Just lazy americans who couldn't be bothered to look further than their local walmart

Again not upgraded. it is downgraded, they have removed chips asnd motion sensitivity. and up'd the price

1.  Considering that the PS3 in Europe has a major hardware change, it's not clear if all issues will be avoided.

2.  That's what happens when you charge so much.  If PS3 launched at $300 and $400 models, I'm sure they could go through a million on day one.  Double that and you have people looking elsewhere.

3.  You can't spin that.  The American and Japanese systems will play all the same Next gen games as the Eurpoean model.  Less games is less games, especially when PS2 was one of the best systems out there.  I could forgive them if they were promising upscaling and working towards a full collection like Microsoft did, but they haven't.

4.  The hardward revision just took out the PS2 card so we can can't play our old games.  Lucky us.
