[QUOTE="mustaf_nur89"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"][QUOTE="mustaf_nur89"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"][QUOTE="mustaf_nur89"]I don't know if this is just in my head, but i could swear i saw the review of MGS4 on Eurogamer by Keza Macdonald earlier today. I just went on the site now, and it states it was reviewed by Oli Welsh.
Could this be linked with people finding out how Keza Macdonald's two different reviews of Zak and Wiki Quest for Barbaros's Treasure, scoring 8/10 on Eurogamer and 9/10 on IGN, both reviewed by him.

Hmm anyone?

Oh yeah, I'm the guy who posted those 2 Zack & Wiki reviews earlier today. As far as I know, Oli Welsh wrote the MGS4 review, I don't recall seeing Keza MacDonald's name in it.
Yeah i was looking for your post so i could quote it, but couldnt find it. I guess i was wrong about the changing reviwer part, but wtf is up with two different scores by the same reviewer? Eurogamer attention seeking MGS4 8/10 am comfirmed.
I dunno, this is a little weird and it isn't good for Eurogamer's credibility. I haven't actually read their MGS4 review, but apparently they don't even explain why they gave it such a low score.
They don't in any way state why they docked 2 points from the score, and the way the guy is talking about the game in some areas makes him look like a fanboy, you should really read it to see.
I've just read it and the only real criticism they have is that the final cutscene is "deeply boring". You're right, that really isn't a good enough reason to take off 2 points from the score. Should be a 9 at least.
Actually, he found the whole story (which takes up about 50% of the game) a complete mess. The AI of the enemies is weak and the gameplay mechanics are still based on the mechanics of the first Metal Gear Solid, which starts to feel archaic. These are just some problems that I got out of it.
