Everywhere was Sonyland last generation; North America, Japan, Europe, Australia, everywhere. The PS2 dominated the console market in every region.
Europe is not a unique market, and it's major difference is that it likes FIFA games a lot more than Madden. Europe this generation will be a reflection of the North American markets, ie whatever sells well there, sells well in Europe.
There is no Sonyland. Nintendo has Japan on lock-down and 360 and Wii are dominating US and Europe. Europeans are just like any other demographic, they won't spend and extortionate amount of money for one console, when they can get 2 other consoles + games for the same price.

Probably true. Europeans have less available income than the Japanese or Americans, and the PS3 is actually more expensive over here than elsewhere. Plus the second-hand game market makes the 360 much more cost effective. Unless you like F1 games, dragon games, and metal queer solid.. oh and are rather rich.
I for one i havent forgiven them for all the lies and arrogance. I will wait until my gf buys me one for my birthday or they reduce the price a lot and before i anyone says anything i can afford a PS3, i can probably afford 30 ps3 with my savings!!
