i'm not here to argue about the quality of halo 3 (well, not in this thread at least) i just wanted to make sure cows, sheep, and hermits are able to admit this. there's noone disputing these facts is there?

The fact that it is so popular is probably why those people hate it so much. I don't think they are deny(ing?) those facts, just angry that a game they don't think is that amasing is loved by so many. Also, WHO HAS LAN PARTIES?!

1 is probably true. 2 & 3 are definitely not.

1. Big whoop. Wii is selling like hotcakes but I don't find myself missing it by not having one. Usually the things that are popular by the masses are mediocre. Watch a music awards show.

2. NON of my firends will be playing Ha-blo. But it was a great try to make me 14 years old again.

3. Here's a little something for ya. Lan parties aren't very popular. There won't be many Halo 3 lan parties either.

i agree halo will sell tons but its just really not THAT great, its a good game well above average but its none of the halo games are close to the best of all time...and i was a huge fan of halo 1 it was so great but 2 really really let me down

yup. i agree with you. that's the point i was trying to make. lol i've been to about 10 halo 2 lan parties. my boy really knows how to throw them, and they're a lot better than frat parties where everyone's falling down/making a fool of themselves/making pathetic attempts at getting laid (though pathetic attempts do work more in this setting than they would anywhere else lol)

hmm, maybe, i was basically trying to say that halo is universal and if you get 16 of your friends together, you're(well not you specifically, but many people) are going to have much more luck getting everyone to agree on halo 3, than any other game.
