Funny, but not really that suprising. Now I'm no expert but putting a 360 in a plastic display case and running it for hours on end doesn't exactly seem like a healthy working environment for any console, much less one that is prone to hardware issues.PBSnipes
the lemmings have landed.... let the excuses flow

Yeah but, don't you agree with that logic?

Don't those sealed display units have built in cooling?... if they do that makes it even more laughable...

Give me a break. So you are telling me MS can't even design a display case for it to work? They failed either way. They are built like junk and even a 'I've had my since launch!' isn't going to change things.

Don't know, but couldn't tell. Maybe if the guy showed a side view of it, but alas he didn't. :(
[QUOTE="earthmonkeyyy"]hahaha,, one step closer to becoming the next Sega.LordQuorthon
Sega's machines were well built.
Yeah i simply meant one day they will abandon the hardware industry and become exclusively software. Can't wait to play Microsoft Sci-Fi shooters on the PS4!!lol.Yeah i simply meant one day they will abandon the hardware industry and become exclusively software. Hopefully, that's what will happen. The way I see it, all the mistakes and bad marketing decisions Sega ever made put together are not even half as utterly horrendous as the red ring of death.

Yeah, even the original NES had more reliability than the 360,LOL!!!

Where did I say there isn't a problem with the 360? Hell I even said it is "prone to hardware issues." But the simple fact is these consoles aren't designed to be put in small plastic cases and run for hours upon hours. I've seen dead PS3's and Wii's (and gamecubes, and PS2s, and Xboxs, and PS1s, and N64s) in similar display cases, does that mean they all have major hardware issues?[QUOTE="flazzle"][QUOTE="PBSnipes"]Funny, but not really that suprising. Having your console break down at GDC!!! That is ridiculous, I'm a 360 owner that has gone through 2 360's so a system breaking down at one of the largest tech shows of the year is a disgrace and shows they don't care.
