Ever come across CLEVER FANBOYISM on SW?

Has anyone here on SW ever come across smart fanboyism. Ill give you an example.

I recently came across a post here on SW where another poster started shouting how Bioshock will OWN the Cows without giving any reasons why this is so. Then he kept on naming PS3 games like HS, MGS4 and others and said that they were, and im quoting here, "Meh" again, without giving any reasons. So I started typing a negative response saying that he is childish for just simply shouting **** without giving any reason why it is, and that he gives Lemmings a bad name. And I was doing this as a Lemming, because I simply hate illogical anger. But just as I was about to hit post, I realised his name. I wont state his name, but all I'm going to say is that it had a pro Nintendo name and the word sheep in it. Then i realised, this is pretty clever. Where a sheep was saying how bad the PS3 is, in a way to make Lemmings seem like idiots, therefore hitting two birds with one stone.

Anyone else come across incidents like this in SW before?

Actually, I think both ways are used. It depends where you are from. I'd say mis-spelt is correct.

Ironing? You mean, irony? Funny stuff.

I doubt in the TC's example that the user was that smart. He probably hates PS3 or Sony and bashes them. Just like some do to MS.
