Why don't you have a top of the range gaming PC, it has most AAA games, not to mention can play pretty much any game from any console, not to mention music, internet and movies Vote now in my totally unbias poll.Kiron22
2 reasons:
1) I have better things to spend my money on. Say I buy a good gaming PC, then I have to buy games for it. Why put more money down the drain, when I can just carry on buying games for the consoles I currently have?
2) Having to buy new graphics cards etc every so often, is a waste of my time AND money.
There are my reasons :)
And before you say anything this is my OPINION.
Ha...Ha...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA.
What ever you say TC, But deep down you know that a TRUE gamer should OWN a console. Not a PC with all its configerations/optimizations and constant updates BS.
Its suppose to be Pop in and play...with outstanding graphics/gaming all at a MUCH cheaper price. THATS gaming, kiddo.
theres a quite a simple reason why people dont get gaming pc's... PRICE
gaming comps are expensive for example i could buy a car for the price of a gaminf computer! and whats more u constantly have to upgrade which costs even more. just let me ask you a question dou want a gaming compyter or 1 year of fuel?
I'm a teenager who only has a job during the summer and would rather spend the money on dates, movies, and used games.
Of course my situation is totally irrelevant according to this poll.
I have three reasons. Money money and money ..oh, and money, and the lack of money.
The idea of having a top of the range gaming PC ALL THE TIME is ridiculous, you don't need Quad Core atm, and you don't need Dual 8800Ultras, that's A WASTE OF MONEY. Question should be why don't you have at least a mid-range gaming PC?
Top of range PC are you nuts? You don't even need a Geforce 8800 to play 95% of games out there and why would we console gamers want to pay 400$ and an extra 50$ to play crisis? You can get a weak 7900 gaming card for 100-200$ and you can play lots of games on medium settings.
Every gamer should have a PC that is capable of running WoW on high settings but not a gaming PC that can runBF2142 on high. Also if you dont have a good PC then who cares? You have your 360,ps3 or Wii
Is this a joke topic? Please tell me this a joke - what idiot spends so much money once or twice a yearfor incremental upgrades and updates to the same platform? You might as well post what you upgraded on the boards in desperation that what you just paid hundreds of dollars for was actually worth it and impressive by fellow nerds.Oh wait.....
Every gamer should be rich. If you're not rich, you're not a gamer :|. In fact, I hope you spend your money on marginal upgrades every year rather than better things in life or preferable gaming alternatives *cough*consoles*cough*.
Who's more of a gamer? The guy who pays $200 upgrading their video card and RAM so they squeeze every detail and run the hottest game, or the guy who's still got a piece of **** while playing older school games and caring how much funhe gets for the stuff that's already out. He'll upgrade but only when he has enough spare cash as he's already saving up for actual games rather than actual upgrades.
