I can't honestly see how anyone can go without the great gaming lineup these two systems have. This gen they share more games than any other, and the games they do share are proving to be the best games of the gen. If you've got a bit of money laying around, you're more of a PC gamer or an RTS fan, you need to get yourself a good PC for this gen. If you've got a bit less money, you're more of a console gamer, or you're a Halo fanatic then opt for the 360. Either way it doesn't seem like you can go wrong.
And if you have both then you're a lucky ******* ;)
From there it seems to me that if need be you can supplement your gaming with something more unconventional like the Wii if you want some crazy motion sensing fun or if you're crazy about high def movies you can get yourself a PS3.
I honestly don't know what people are talking about when they say this gen sucks or whatever. Seems fine so far to me. Maybe they just have the wrong console. ;)
