So, I was wondering, how do you guys value that content? What do you respect more? The socalled DLC, PC mods or Indie games?
There's a poll also.

Indie games. I'm not a fan of PC Mods really, except maybe texture packs and what not, and DLC is a ripoff 90% of the time.
This. PC mods are 99% of the time independent content.PC mods are like indie downloadable content, only free.
I see no reason not to vote for it.

DLC, its at least official content.
Rarely will PC mods even be worth trying out and even rarer will Indie games be worth demo-ing.
Pc mods of course. Can be anywere from a weapom to a texture replacement to a single level to a whole mission and even a whole game and are free.
Indie games are also good considering most of them start as pc mods for games like half life 2 or crysis and are good enough that the developer consider releasing them as a game
It would be DLC if it were free or at least reasonably priced as it should be (there are some exceptions), but alas all it's really doing is showing the greed of big corporations like Capcom or EA. So I guess since I never got into mods on PC much, as I found most to be utter crap, I value indie games the most.
Hard to choose between mods and indie games (mostly PC ones though)
I don't like dlc that's not free, I would rather wait for them to add more content and release it as one big expansion pack
PC gets all 3 in bucketloads, for free (mostly)
Where is the option for "All of the above"?
Wartzay
Because there must be something that you like more :)
Anyway, I respect mods the most, 'cause people really make some incredible stuff entirely for free.
On the other hand, ACE Team did fabolous job with Zeno Clash. Fantastic game.
PC Mods, ftw. Followed by a distant margin, indie games. Only then, DLC, if I feel like, for some stupid reason, being a victim of being ripped off by marketing suits.
PC mods are free, there are practically thousands of them and many of them are many times BETTER than official downloads. Some games are simply terrible to play WITHOUT mods. Especially Bethesda Games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
PC mods many times double up as full fledged indie games too (which again, are free). Which is somethign alot of people simply are not aware of. Many indie games that we have now started off as free pc mods. People need tor ealise that PC mods comes in all shapes and sizes, from tiny weeny mods that simply adds a couple of skins and retextures to completely whole news games with new quests, storylines and factions (plus equipments too).
The best thing being a PC gamer is...we get all three by the bucketloads. :P
PC mods by a LONG shot. Anybody who's delved into the modding communities will agree with me. Not only have mods expanded the replay value of games significantly, sometimes the mods put the original retail game to shame. I'm find myself saying "why didn't the developers think of this?" many times. Total conversion mods aren't the only ones that are worth noting, small mods which are only made for a simple reason can make a game more interesting and fun to play. After mods I'd say indie games, since they're a goldmine of unique gameplay experiences. DLC is left in the dust.
