If I stood at the counter of EB games and asked everyone who bought a PS3 what LBP was, how many do you honestly think would know what it is? They better advertise the hell out of it.

*LOL* They're hardly the only company to do it. I'm not saying it's alright that they did, just making that point.

And no, TC, I will not be getting a P$3 for LittleBigPlanet. I won't be getting one until I see the price lowered to my satisfaction.

Because those are pointless minigames. LBP has superior depth with its creation tool, great physics, a wonderful platform system, and the funniest mascot ever. Minigames are extremely limited and shallow. LBP allows for vast amounts of creativity and depth.

LBP looks quite awesome, but it doesn't inspire me to get a PS3 for it. It would be a good extra to get if I do plan on one.

Lol it's barely a casual game. Hardcores get to create super levels for each other (and tons from the developers themselves no doubt), casuals get to play whatever's there and download extra maps that users and the developer creates.

its wild as hell. i couldnt believe this game, the more i see, the more enthrawled i am. i watched them make a teeter totter out of squares, a tank that moved and everything, jetpacks. the game astounds me. the physics are great, the game looks great.

I heard an interesting convo on 1up where they said it delivers on the true promise of content creation. Microsoft tend to spew hyperbole about XNA but how many people can actually be bothered to use it or learn how to use it? LBP could be the first game that is created primarily by us the gamers, and that's an incredibly prospect

3D graphics but the gamplay is distinctly 2D (and all the better for it). there are a few different "planes" but other than that it is a 2D side scroller

I will unleash my e-peen on you all.. I was just making a friendly suggestion, and I even knew I'd get someone to say "research it on your own, lazy" which is why I included the second sentence in there, but I guess some people just don't get everything. Is there anything else I can do for you? Or is there anything else you'd like to accuse me of?

I;m getting a PS3 and I can tell you that LBP has NOTHING to do with that. I don't get consoles for little downloadable games that are more akin to an indie game. Indy games ROCK and they sure are cool as LBP is but it's a bonus NOT a reason.

I have never seen or heard of a game where not only can you actually travel around spherical planetoids, but you can see the curve of the horizon, where down is towards the center of the mass.
