It started with folks noticing Xbox Live was down but we are now in full on chaos mode

I climbed Mt Garfield in New Hampshire today. Great climb! I've done 45 of the 48 peaks of the white mountains. Great views! Great effort, just a really great day.

Just got home and was looking forward to playing some Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and couldn’t log in to Xbox Live. Infinite sadness. 😔

@sakaixx: I know your ignorance knows no bounds but setting your console as home allows you to play the games offline. The same applies to the PS5.

My DLC is downloaded to my console. But the game can't check to see if you have the dlc without Microsoft servers I guess

I will after I beat Elden Ring DLC. It's one of the greatest games ever made in the history of mankind. Although the DLC is a little disappointing how bad they left Mages hanging.

Admit it, you forgot ToTK was even released. These games aren't impressive anymore, fromsoft has surpassed them by too damn much. I am worried for the zelda team, they just can't match ER, let alone the next fromsoft banger.

My power went out for three hours today. I cleaned my room and then read some of a book.

It was nice. A little mini-detox.

I do admit there was a little part of me that sort of panicked a bit or was worried about how I was going to spend my day off, but then I recalled "Hey, I'm 40; I lived my formative years with few electronics, and more than half my life without a cell-phone" and that gave me the confidence I needed to move on 😋

They're completely different games. Fromsoft could never match a Zelda game. They need to stick to being a one trick pony.

Why wouldn't they be able to match a game with no art direction worth mentioning, a mobile combat system, mobile boss design, empty world, no builds system, etc. Its a very simpleton game, even ubisoft could match it. Hell, noname Chinese developer matched it with Genshin Impact, and at least they put some effort into voice acting in that game, not like nintendo and their bird sounds instead of an actual VA.

I logged in no problem today. In fact, I took advantage of a recent digital anime sale there, and for my favorite anime (that's in a weird state in the west right now) too.
