I don´t know if to it applies to your country but at my X1 country´s XBL store EVOLVE is getting some monster discounts, 60 and 70%. That´s almost bargain bin/clearance. So for that price I think I can give it a shot.

Is there even a community left? The game got panned by most places and is multi-player only. Most of the community disappeared within weeks of release.
It wouldn't be worth it at any price.
RIP. Average 365 players in the last 30 days. I'm glad that people actually bought season pass for this dying horse; hopefully that teaches them a lesson.

EDIT: Took a look at its Steam forums. Evolve is now confirmed #1 "dodged bullet" for many.
They were supposed to release an all DLC having edition. This is a good chance for those who already have it a chance to get DLC cheap rather than rebuy it. Also a good time to play it as sale bound to bring new players.

They are actually still having problem with DLCs not working for its paying customers. The devs have been somewhat afk since July.
Another FPS like Titanfall, Halo 5, and Battlefront that died in no time because they can't compete with Treyarch.

Same as Killzone no?
That goes without saying.
@raugutcon: Here in the States as well. I love the fact that the devs tried a different take on their formula, but when it comes the FPS its the genre that crowds you out. Sorry devs, 4 against Zombies is just more fun
@NathanDrakeSwag: I know where you're coming from buddy, but Halo 5 is pretty damn active right now, especially after its latest patch.

Was on Halo 5 with a couple of SW people Friday and Army friends Saturday. Community is alive and kicking. "but teh twitch is teh dedz!!!!" #whyugottaliethough
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if no one picks this game up. You would almost have to give the game away for someone to say I would think about getting the game.
should have been an free2play game in the first place. they really didn't think about this games future.
I played the alpha and the beta and had fun. It also gave me my fix for the game.
Not yo mention the fact it didn't have huge hype and it was online only meant it was a huge risk.
Damn shame what happened to that game. I enjoyed it when the community was there but it died out pretty quickly.

I wouldn't waste my money. Since the game is online only, unless you have a bunch of friends to play with, it's not even worth it. The game should have been $19.99 digital download at the most. I cancelled my preorder right after I found out it was online only and every was getting bored of it playing the beta. It'll be dirt cheap on Black Friday, that's for sure. Probably $10 or less.
I was interested when the game was showing previews but then the game released and the way it was being sold turned me completely away from the game. I loved the concept and the PC version could have had some amazing MODs made for it. Just image 4 ghostbusters going around trapping the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man who is terrorizing the city
I enjoyed the game its actually one of the first actual games that actually felt 'next gen'. It got railed on hard for all the DLC that everyone blew out of proportion. But its a solid, bug relatively bug free game and theres still a decent community on XBox at least.
With all the new hunters and the new monsters the game is pretty fun if you play with people that know what they are doing. The new Gorgon monster is pretty awesome.

Woah shit, careful bro. Dont knock his Twitch argument. He's going to come at you with Amazon top sellers next.

Well, the DLC killed the game's sales and is the biggest reason there isn't a community, so I wouldn't say it was blown out of proportion.

if they dont release a page with player numbers, people would never know if there is 300 o 30.000 or 30 million players
you dont need more than 200 to make many full servers with different game modes, i dont understand why people call a game dead if there is still many modes maps to play anytime in the day, dead server used to be those of the first xbox that became desert after 1 year
it looks like are more worried about not playing the hype of the moment game and less worried about playing what they enjoy
It was nothing more than a cash grab from the start and I'm glad it's flopped just so the publisher has a rethink. A half finished game for full price with a lot of DLC that should have been in the full game. A season pass. All multiplayer. Yes I am happy this one failed.
