Exclusive Banjo-Kazooie gameplay vids News

It won't matter to me what GS scores this game. I will be playing this game in November 2008 to November 2009 ! :D

Seriously, I sure hope whomever reviews this game here doesn't find it too creative, complex & original and decides to not really play the game through then give it a 5.5 score. :evil:

Anywho, the story.

It's 10 years since Rare turned out the original Banjo-Kazooie on N64, in a blummin' marvellous platformer that rivalled Mario 64 in the gameplay stakes while charming us with the Britsoft studio's irresistibly quirky humour.

To make the series relevant to today's discerning gamer, the duo's long-awaited return this November in Nuts & Bolts sees Rare jumping on the user-created content bandwagon, offering a blend of traditional platforming and custom vehicle creation, with a big emphasis on the online community.

We recently visited Rare to take an in-depth look at how the game was shaping up, which you can read all about in our detailed preview , and go further behind the scenes in our Eurogamer TV Special .

But we also made it out of Twycross with a good deal of exclusive, direct-feed footage captured from the latest build of the game, which you can check out below.

Vehicle Editor- This is, if you'll forgive us, the nuts and bolts of the new Banjo experience. Create and customise vehicles with an increasing range of parts as you progress through the game. And you can share your best blueprints with others over Xbox Live.

Showdown Town- Welcome to the hubworld of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. All of the game's areas are accessible from here, although you'll need a seriously pimped-out motor before you can reach everywhere.

Challenges- Nuts & Bolts is packed with mini-games that promise to give it that 'one more go' feeling, as you try a few more tweaks under the bonnet to beat your best scores.

Multiplayer - Arguably as big a draw as the single-player portion, Rare has exploited the current fad for user-created content with a range of games that will put your most ingenious vehicle designs to the test.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts is due out on Xbox 360 in November.

It is a platformer. If the devs and many people who played it say it's a platformer then it is.

The reason Rare decided to make BKNB a vehicle game instead of a cutting edge platformer, is because none of the new staff know how to make a platformer that's capable of competing in the current game market.Timstuff

anyways........looking forward to this game, im pre-ordering this along with fable 2 :D

I remember after I made that small Banjo hype thread, I saw a new LBP one pop up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH OMG you have to be joking right? The only people who left Rare was a couple of the guys responsible for Goldeneye. The entire Banjo team is still there not to mention Rare said this is what they wanted to do with Banjo Tooie...my god you are the biggest fanboy in the world officially.

the entire banjo staff is there the only ones that left were the golden eye staff which made free radical and we can see what that did, 3-4 mediocre time splitters game, and haze i believe? that scored very very badly but thats the fate since every game they've made has just been a golden eye clone.

Oh and what does it take to be a good platformer these days? let alone that the only true platformer any more is SMG, the sony side of platforming which is a cat and a toaster with lots of guns is an less of an platformer then this game a good 90% of ratchet and clanks gameplay is decimate every thing on screen.

The original ones on the N64 are some of my favorite games ever, and when I first heard Rare is making this one a few years back, I completely freaked out in excitement. Haha
