You still having trouble coping with the fact that the GTA IV DLC is the same as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2?
You know, I would agree with you. I think the problem comes when drawing the fine line as to how much is enough to warrant a mutually different experience from two games that are essentially the same.
When I look at a game like the NG game coming for PS3, it really offers a whole lot-- but others argue that since the gameplay and story are the same, the game remains a multiplatform.
For the sake of SW, I just disregard the notion you are trying to put forth, but I think it would be something I would adhere to subjectively
GTA4 dlc has to be bought separately. NGS2 comes with the extra content for no extra charge. same with tales of vesperia. and TC, i agree. what's wrong with counting them as exclusives for both systems? You still having trouble coping with the fact that the GTA IV DLC is the same as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2?

Isn't there a version putting the DLC onto the disc? If so, this is another reason why this issue isn't so black and white. Superior multiplat =/= exclusive, period. Btw, what exactly has the PS3 of ToV over the 360 version?IronBass
aparently. a lot.

Why not just break the rules for both console then? This rule is less about protecting lemmings and more for cows aint it?
it's not just a matter of superior version it's the exclusive experience you won't find on other systems.Swift_Boss_A
That's exactly why we call a version of a multiplat "superior" in the first place. Because it offers something the other version does not.
Still, superior multiplat =/= exclusive.

More game modes, expanded story, more gameplay, additional characters, anything like that is a new experience thus warrant an exclusive status. Exclusive DLC is just that, it's not an exclusive game but a game which has far more content on the disc I believe does become an exclusive.

You could say that the content is exclusive, but going on to say that the whole game becomes exclusive is a bit of a stretch.
That's exactly why we call a multiplat "superior". Because it offers something the other version does not. Still, superior multiplat =/= exclusive.Yep I guess that makes sense-- but I think if a game can be superior it can detach itself from being known as a multiplatform. The question is, how much is enough to differentiate a game, and on that question, there will never be a consensus. What exactly does =/= mean? I've seen it forever but never figured it out yet.[QUOTE="IronBass"][QUOTE="Swift_Boss_A"] it's not just a matter of superior version it's the exclusive experience you won't find on other systems.vaderhater

, anything like that is a new experience thus warrant an exclusive status. Swift_Boss_ANope. It's still a multiplat. With more content, that's why it's a superior multiplat. But still a multiplat.

I cant find Sigma 2 for anywhere under £29.99. I can find NG2 for £9.99. If extra content is your reasoning for it being exclusive then gears of war should be exclusive to 360 and pc because the pc version has extra campaign
I still believe the GTA4 DLC pack Episodes from Liberty City is exclusive. Together its about 20 hours of gameplay and not available on any other system, AND does not need the original. NGS2 over NG2 is different for a whole bunch of reasons, but mainly its just an improvement with some extra features, not a new game.
