The entire game is your journey as the son (who is also named Nathan so you don't know this until the very end) to find his father to collect back-child support.

Not very super realistic concept art. The game would probably not be too dissimilarto the console version. There are always model modifications and other stuff to keep in mind.

The statues look like an Inca design,

Judging from the heights and what appear to ruins (in that image and in other gameplay), it maybe Machu Pichu.

I don't know much about Uncharted but I do know Drake is like some sort of treasure hunter. If the Incas held treasure in Machu Pichu, the main character Nathan Drake could be after it at somepoint in this NGP version.

Or I could be wrong. A few minuets of demo gameplay and three images of concept art is not always the best sources to go by. First I read about the NGP versio of Uncharted was the 2010 VGA's. Things might change, even if I am right.
