Exclusives PS3 still winning , Xbox360 still with 2.. in 2011 ( 56k )

I think SW need an interesting topic other than the usual MW3, LA Noir or witcher threads :P.. looking at the pre-ordered games i have on so far and games i already purchased i gotta say PS3 is way too packed this year, to the point it gets too hard to keep up with all these announcments and releases every month not to mention what will be confirmed in E3 next month while on the other hand xbox360 STILL at 2 games with exclusives. of course multiplats matter so much but let us just focus on exclusives for the year.

According to my calculation and knowledge PS3 has this amount of exclusives this year:

This is what i have in mind, there are tons more!

As for xbox360, and since i have one already i seem to be getting games that are 4 or 5 years old :| and only exclusives i can think of are:

We'r almost getting into june and still 2 games that been kept on being listed since last year :|

Rune Factory, No More Heroes and The Sly Collection aren't exclusives.

The Hyperdimension game was reviewed already and got like a 3.0. :/

Well, you also liked Cross Edge and Neptunia. I doubt I'd like Ar Tonelico, looks way to bare bones.

Rune Factory Oceans is also on the Wii and Sly Collection came out last year.

There are more than two, they're Kinect games, but they're still retail titles and part of the metagame if they score above 8.0.

The 360 won't be able to keep up with the PS3 with "Core" exclusives from this point on. Not many 3rd Parties are going to go exclusive and miss out on 100+ Million combined userbase of the PS3 & 360. Microsoft doesn't have the amount of 1st / 2nd Party studios Sony has so, that's another factor. It doesn't matter too much sales wise this generation but next generation Microsoft better get out before Sony. As far as library PS3 will come out on top when all is said and done between the two IMO.

Others are still on a TBA 2011 schedule so they don't have exact dates yet. But stuff like Project Draco, Codename D, Haunt and others. What are you going to say when those have release dates? That since they're compatible with Kinect they don't count? Gimme a break guys. Just watch, 360 will surprise you more than you give it credit for with such shortsightedness right now.

ah posting kniect games would be more work for me tbh and which will also mean i'd have to post move games as well like sorcery and others, i puposly did not want to post motion games, i just want to reply to people and pass the time till when my class starts in 3 hours lol. alright if you guys want a few games to be removed sure thing ;)

Damn I just realized, since TLG is out of the picture for this year and still no word on Ni No Kuni, plus Rune Factory and Dark Souls being multiplat, there are no PS3 exclusives I really care about this year. Same with the 360. This year has been and will continue to be all about the multiplats when it comes to the "hd" twins.

If the Wii gets DQX and SS this year then I'm cool with those and hopefully TLS gets localized sometime soon. And of course the PC has great exclusives as usual.

Isn't Deathsmiles 2 a downloadable title? Pretty sure he only listed retail titles.

Although the 1st Deathsmiles is retail, I'm pretty sure the 2nd is going to be downloadable. Which is probably more fitting for the type of game it is (I bet it's barely 1 or 2 GB on disc). Don't get me wrong, if I could bring myself to get a 360 Deathsmiles is probably one of the 1st games I'd get, along with Deadly Premonition, Tales of Vesperia, and a few other old ones. There's probably a good 10-15 games I'd have to get on 360 right away, but for new titles... not so much.

Steel Battalion, Rise of Nightmares, Haunt, Codename D and Project Draco are listed as Kinect Compatible. Meaning, gamepad or Kinect.

If those don't count, than stuff like Killzone 3 doesn't count for PS3 when it allows for regular controls or Move controls.

PS3 is winning, but as a PS3 owner can I just say that no PS3 owner gives a fook about any of those wack anime games except for those who give a fook about this whole system war, and therefore pretend like they give a fook about said anime games. Just saying.

The only upcoming PS3 exclusives I give a dam for are Uncharted 3 and imfamous 2. The rest are rentals at best imo. Forza 4 and Gears 3 are both AAA exclusive games that will be plenty enough for most of us.racing1750

This is semi-true true, but it's nice to have options. Uncharted 3 and Infamous 2 both look like "must owns". I'm at least interested in about half the other games, there's really only a couple that I flat out have ZERO interest in (mostly JRPG's, but even there I will probably look at Disgaea 4). No More Heroes is starting out at $39.99, so I'll probably pick that one up as well. Also Twisted Metal is at least something to watch for me, though I could easily see it being a mediocre game.

disservice? i wouldnt call it that tbh and if you own a ps3 instead of wii you can play the best version in HD with trophies etc on ps3.. anyways this is more of a whole diffrent topic but what about now? you like the new edit? :P
