Ex-mafia devs show off next gen RPG

They have shown some footage of a RPG they plan to release in 2014/15. And it definitely looks pretty for an early build.

They also clarified that the demo was running off an old notebook with an Nvidia 555M graphics card.All built in Cryengine 2 apparently.

The moment they add magics to the game is when it sucks. Need some true medieval setting and less influence with Harry Potter and the 3 geeks.

Too blurry, but I can already tell it looks better than anything on the Wii U. See this is what next gen is REALLY about.

We have enough Medieval fantasty RPG's, I'd rather see another Mafia, or even a Mafia RPG. That would be pretty cool.

lol might want to watch your words, it runs on Cryengine 3.

You know that engine that Crytek said runs beautifully on the WiiU.

Shame. Before they became 2K Czech, Illusion Softworks worked on a lot of great games: Hidden and Dangerous, Vietcong, Mafia, ...

But then, I don't know why, they worked really long on Mafia 2 and it ended up being a really short game. I still liked it but I'd rather they make something different than Mafia now, another Vietcong or H&D would be great.

So around here, youtube comparisons are shot down because they're too compressed and don't show the real detail but off screen footage of a very very early build of a game has "piss poor" textures? makes sense

Could be interesting, though, which devs is it? Mafia or Mafia 2?
