Is this the game that does that stupid rain effect on the screen? Seriously looks like they're trying to hide something rather than expand the realism. If I even bothered with racers like this that effect would just bother the hell out of me.-RPGamer-

You forgot to add "and fun" on the end of your sentence. Being annoyed by some obtrusive effect is not "fun".

See this is where context is a key element to comprehension.

What you increased the font size on was part of a sentence, never said "the effect wasn't realistic." I said the effect looks like it was added for another purpose, and that's what I initially felt like when I saw the vids on it.

It's sold outside the UK for one thing, hell I can find it any Borders here in the states.

Last time I checked being a sim game didn't negate the fact that games are form of entertainment intended to be entertaining, or "fun".

Of course this stems back the simple fact I don't like sim games b/c I believe they're all fundamentally flawed in this mentality. This "feature" just adds to that opinion.

No, it's more like they ran out of money developing the graphics of the game because the PS3 is so awful to code for, and didn't have anymore money for actual gameplay.

Seems to be a common theme for PS3 games, poorer graphics, framerate issues and no online.
