I like how they did the Friends Orbe thing in the game and you can instantly invite your friend.
you could use your friend for 5 minutes to beat a Boss then let them go back to playing Gears. awesome feature.
be nice if Gears 2 had that feature.

Actually you gotta remember that the orbs only show up if you're friend is PLAYING Fable 2. That's why the orbs show up where your friend's character is. Because your friend IS right there in their game.
But that's a really nifty feature. I like it too. And they finally named npcs too. Talk about awesome.
that is seriously innovative.
this ime peter is delievering on everything he is promising. cows miss out.
Well its still cool, you dont have to check your invites and log out to the menu etc... just hit accept and youre instanly in the game.Actually you gotta remember that the orbs only show up if you're friend is PLAYING Fable 2. I know! It's going to be fun when your friend doesn't want to accept, but then he's running around you as an orb and you're all like "OMFG DEMON ORB!"
Yep, the co-op thing really amazed me. It's also looking great, graphically. What i'm worried about though, is the gameplay. =/ All peter said was that it's hack n slash, it's got me kinda worried about the overall quality of the game.ChrnoTrigger
I remember he said something about one-button-combat. That would make me just trade it in on the spot. I want combat to be interesting and deep.
i have to say being a huge sony fan im jelous of this game to the max.

The combat is contextual.
It depends on the way you're facing, you surroundings and direction of movement.
Its deep enough.

if you watch the footage from gdc 08 on gametrailers pete explains that 1 button is for the sword and you use another button for gun'sThat feature is really nice. I also like the aging feature. Oh and will this game be M rated? ;)(Wife=sha-boing-boing-baby)

I really wish he would have showed something else.. I'm still on the fence about this one, didn't like the first one much.
